Bridget's apartment was great.
It was truly like having a home away from home. A fully stocked kitchen, wi-fi, speakers to plug your ipod into, very comfortable bed, a lot of light and cross-breezes, stocked bathroom, garage for the car, etc.... Without feeling too lived in... it was sparse enough so as not to feel like I was intruding on someone else's space.
Aside from amenities, Bridget's apartment is also very charming. Hardwood floors, great original landscape photographs and framed prints of classic films on the walls, a very tasteful and hip vinyl collection, etc.
The neighborhood is also a very pleasant place to be. A very progressive and diverse community. 10-minute walk from a hip area with good restaurants, shopping and nightlife. But also some very nice quiet blocks with beautiful homes -- great for evening strolls.
If I was moving to Cleveland, I'd like to move into Bridget's apartment. I hope it's available the next time I visit.
Bridget was very easy to work with. The apartment is lovely and very convenient!
First off Bridget was great. She was not expecting us when we booked on short notice. So her place was not "ready" for guest as her true first booking was not scheduled for a few more days but she agreed to take us anyway. There are definately some kinks that she needs to work out for future guest and I believe she will. The only surprise issue I found was that there is no A/C in the apartment. Now a/c was not listed as an amenity so i guess that is technically my oversite but most travelers booking rooms I feel do not consider a/c an amenity nowadays. I would suggest highlighting that fact in the listing or getting a few window units for the bedrooms. The rooms were surprisingly cool but it is still springtime. All in all on short notice we made it work and Bridget has potential and room for improvement.
