Ciao a tutti sono Giulia e vivo nella bellissima Amalfi. Da noi l'ospitalità è la nostra carta vincente. Quindi non può farlo altro che passare da me a trovarmi.
This is a very spacious, clean, apartment in an excellent location with a lovely terrace area, a f=view of the Basilica with a glimpse of the ocean, and a supermarket almost across the street. The hist Giulia responds to emails very quickly through her phone and is earnest in her care for guests. If you are driving be warned that free public parking is virtually nonexistent unless you are willing to search every day and park in absurdly tight circumstances. We were offered parking for 10Euros day, which was convenient but also in very tight quarters with a steep uphill so if not used to European parking this was a challenge. It would have been preferable to know all this at the time of booking, which we did not--but the place is still well worth it. The wi-fi went down for us and stayed down for a good portion of our stay; I don't know if this is typical for the area. We do recommend this place and had a wonderful time.
It was perfect place to stay! Flat was nice with table on the street where we had breakfasts! No noise, everything is very comfortable!
It 8-10 minutes walk to the sea. There is a parking place for car.
Owner is very friendly and help us when we needed it.
Response from Giulia:
Nice size place in the town of Maiori. The apartment is about 5 minute walk from the beach. Very large size apartment with good refrigerator, washing machine and wifi which was not very good. This apartment is great for larger size group with plenty of space if staying in amalfi coast. If you are spending a lot of time in Sorrento I recommend not staying any further then Positano. But this is a great spot for Maiori, Minori and Amalfi.
The reservation was canceled 5 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

Good place to reach all the beautiful places at the amalfi coast.
What a lovely apartment. We have no complaints at all. The apartment was clean and bright - the deck was fabulous.
Stairs? Okay, well... 50 or so - maybe more, but we needed those stairs up to the apartment - after all the food and drink we ate in Maoiri! Certainly not for everyone - but then all of Italy has plenty of stairs - is that part of why you're there?!
Guilia was very friendly and we felt right at home in Maoiri. The ony thing I'd change, if I could, was better access to wifi (we could access it from Guilia's office, so it was no huge deal, but for a writer... it would have been a little more convenient at the apt (again, not in any way a show stopper - we loved our stay.)
Response from Giulia:
we have wifi now
Very disappointing property. Badly maintained, dirty.
The towels were tiny & threadbare, the bed was not much more than a camp stretcher, broken dining chair, broken toilet seat, dirty bath & bathroom, problems with power (which were quickly rectified by owner) & noisy neighbours
Not to mention rats on the verandah....
Good location but 60 steps up from main busy road. Nice views of the church & town & close to town centre.
Owner was accommodating in arranging transfers from Naples at reasonable cost.
Cannot recommend the property.
I città incantevole con i bambini. È piaciuto a tutti.
Sadly this place didnt live up to our expectations - it was dark and a bit run down (toilet seat cracked right through, walls patched but not painted and the awning had fallen down). Guilia very kindly offered us a much nicer apartment but we had jumped the gun and booked into a hotel. The apartment t description said a few steps from the sea and beautiful views and described the arrival as being along the pedestrian only street. It's try you can come up the pretty street but it is actually on a busy road with a lot of motorbikes zooming up and down (common in the Amalfi coast). It is actually not a few steps - more like 400 metres (up the road and around a corner) and the view of the duomo and the sea are both v distant and if you look down it is if a filthy and derelict (in a Sunday anyway) carpark. Definitely not as we expected from the description. Beware there are no towels and in our case they had forgotten the sheets too. Though they dropped them off 5 mins later for us to make up the bed ourselves. We checked into a hotel which was down the road and genuinely was a few steps from the sea, had a full uninterrupted view of the sea (in other words it was waterfront) and cost less than the apartment. Please note though that Guila did offer us an apartment that was down near the water a a replacement which was v kind and Milly who showed us the apartment said they would fix the awning if we wished).
