Staying at Peter's place in West London was perfect for me - far enough away from the hustle and bustle of London to have some peace but so easy and quick to access anywhere if needed. Trains stations and buse are close and I used the 94 bus nearly every day as it goes to Oxford Circus and Piccadilly Circus. The room I had was comfortable, airy, quiet and spacious and sharing the lounge room, kitchen and bathroom with the other people in the house was never a problem. Peter is a kind, gentle, lovely person to deal with and even came out in the rain with an umbrella to find me as I was totally disoriented when I first arrived. I fell in love with Mascha and enjoyed taking her for walks, particularly in Ravenscourt Park. Thank you Peter for being a wonderful, considerate host and thank you for sharing beautiful Mascha with me. If I have the good fortune to come back to London I would love to stay here again.
Very nice host and lovely dog! The house is cosy and Peter is a great host!
My overall experience in this place has been very good. I say overall because I wasn't coming to London for leisure, but at least I had a comfortable place to stay. The house was clean and quiet, big kitchen and pleasant lounge, big bathroom; it's true that the room is a bit noisy, that's the only bad thing I can say about it, but with a pair of earplugs the problem is solved. And the flatmates were really really helpful with my suitcases; I had several nice chats with them and I keep in touch with some! Peter was on a trip during my stay but completely available for what I needed via messages or phone. He's a very very kind host. Two days prior to my leaving, I hadn't found yet a permanent stay and maybe needed two extra days in his room, and he accepted saying that if I needed, he would sleep in the couch. Well that was really considerate, I must say. I got to met him the day I was leaving and talked for a while. A really nice person.
What else can I say? The area is greatly connected, there's a bus stop in front of the house that leaves you at Hammersmith station, and two minutes far a bus that takes you to Notting Hill Gate and Picadilly Circus. Ravenscourt park tube station is 10 minutes walk and so is Shepherds Bush, in a road plentiful of exotic stores where you can find everything: groceries, ShepBush Market, Tesco, Sainsbury's, and even places where you can print or photcopy (difficult to find in London!). Ravenscourt Park is a minute far and is worth walking it. And, of course, Westfield mal is on your way to Shepherds Bush.
I recomend this place!
I can definitely recommend Peter`s place: it`s very clean, quite and cozy. He and his flatmates are kind and helpful and his dog Masha is super cute and well-educated. The house is in a good location ( less than 10 minutes to metro, bus stop in front of the house). I really enjoyed my stay at his house and it was perfect for my first week in London :-)
Peter is really kind and helpful host:) His place is same as the picture shows, tidy , clean, and hav everything u need. And the location is close to metro, by walking only 6mins. Outside of his place also hav bus stop can take u to the metro. Peter's dog Masha is really cute~ I also love the time that I stay with Masha. And Peter's flatmates are all helpful and easygoing. I really had good time in Peter's place. As my experience, I highly recommend Peter's place for staying in London :) !!!!! Next time if I go to London, definitely will stay in Peter's place again.
Excellent host. Spotless room in a fantastic location. Helpful, quiet and respectful host with a lovely dog.
My stay at Peter's was so great: good location, good & large room and definetly kind people here. Peter is really a ideal host and his roommates are more that friendly. Special though to Macha an adorable cocker!
Mon Sejour chez Peter a été plus que confortable : bonne localisation, grande chambre et surtout une bonne ambiance très amicale !
My stay at Peter's was fantastic. I stayed at Peter's upon arriving to the UK and I felt welcomed by him and his flat mates right away. Initially my stay was 1 week, however, Peter let me extend it until I moved into a permanent flat. I would recommend this place to anyone who visits London.
My stay with Peter and his house mates were fabulous. They are all a really friendly bunch and someone will always be around should you need anything or have any questions.
Everyone is really considerate and the room was clean, cosy and conveniently right next to the bathroom and on the same level as the kitchen. You share the bathroom with 1, perhaps 2 others but this is not disturbing at all and mostly felt like you had your own private en-suite.
An additional 4-legged house mate, Peter's dog called Masha, was extremely well behaved and a pleasure to have around.
Peter is very friendly, considerate and I'll recommend 'Cosy double bedroom' to anyone.
Peter is a great host. The place is nice, clean, calm despite a number of roommates in the house (who actually was a pleasure to talk to). There are several rooms, I understand, so most probably it depends on which side of the house. The one on the street could be a bit noisy, but this this London! The quality-price ratio is very good.
Peter is one of those that I could regret we didn't met. Our communication by e-mail has been very efficient and pleasant and Rasta, my loving ugly dog :D and my flatmates really appreciated him. In 2 words, great guest :)
Peter is so kind and respectful. He doesn't even know how to make coffe so he doesnt use the kitchen!
Nice guy :)
