My name is Matt. I graduated from WWU, studying environmental science and chemistry. I was born in San Francisco, moved to Los Angeles (being chased by earthquakes), and grew up in Salt Lake City. My favorite travel adventure so far has been traveling to the Siberian Arctic for a research program studying carbon release from global warming. This July I will be bicycle touring from Amsterdam to Paris. I have family in Massachusetts, New York, Chicago, Salt Lake, and San Francisco.
5 things I can't live without? Nature, Music, Art, Conversations, and Science.
My life motto is to exist we must express. And to express we must see many places and listen to many people. My life philosophy is a mixture of Edward Abbey and Carl Sagan.
Life goals: travel to all continents, speak all 6 UN languages fluently.
