We found the accommodation very nice and cosy.
We had a lovely time in this cute and cosy annex, we could have happily stayed another week if our work schedules had allowed it. We got in very late on the Thursday night, but we were still greeted by Jon who very kindly showed us around and made us feel welcome. The room was comfortable and clean with all the basics although my highlight was the shower with amazing strong hot water pressure. The area itself was great with ample walks in beautiful countryside (we even saw wild deer!), a short drive to some wonderful national trust properties, plus its not far from the coast and seaside. There are some wonderful local pubs too, our favourite was The Unicorn, with great food and a big open fireplace. We would defiantly recommend Jon's place and would happily stay again.
The hosts were very welcoming and were attentive and quick to help. We ate in a lovely pub near by and had a good night's sleep!
My wife and I stayed for two nights at Amberfold and had the most relaxing few days in the area. The room is really cosy and a great base to explore the wonderful South Downs. Jon and his wife were friendly and check in was easy - they'd even bought us some milk for tea and coffee. Some great pubs and walks nearby. If you're after a quite weekend away from the city lights, this is the perfect cosy base.
Really cute little place to stay and Jon was very friendly. I left my charger behind and he posted it back for me! Loved the country pub nearby.
The hosts were very nice and the room lovely decorated and confortable.
We enjoyed the parc around: there is a lot of foot paths! Many thanks for this night.
The annex was even better than expected: spacious and clean, and delightfully cosy, despite the snow on the ground outside. Hosts were very welcoming and were able to advise on the best pubs and footpaths - all you need for a perfect weekend in the countryside.
We were made very welcome throughout our stay and we're given lots of help in where to eat and where to look out for as well as some of the local walks! The annexe was cosy and once heating was on it kept nice and toastey! The main room was spacious and well appointed and had everything you would want!
Overall a very pleasant stay!
A lovely little place to stay, myself and my wife Holly had a great time. The room was very warm and cosy, very secluded - it was great to be so cut off from the world. We had a great 3 hour walk which started at he back of the garden. Jon and Tanya made us very welcome.
We had such a lovely weekend in this gorgeous annex. It was really clean and tidy and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. We slept like logs! Really lovely countryside for walks. Jon and Tania were very friendly, they came out to say hello and show us the annex, and then left us to it, which was perfect for us! Would love to stay there again.
