I love to travel and meet new people through AirBnb. I've also been an AirBnb host in the past and had an amazing experience with it.

Albert was a great host who made sure I got all settled and was comfortable with my room. Albert and his roommate even took me down to Sullivan's down by the shore one evening. The room is small, but perfectly efficient for anyone passing through Boston and needing a place to stay. The location was great; near the airport and while a bit of a walk to the T, very close to bus lines that take you into the heart of the city. I would definitely stay here again if I needed a place in Boston.
Had spent a day in Boston and it was great to stay in this little adorable room. Haven't met Albert in person, but was pretty easy to check in and out. The room has everything I need, and a big window next to my bed.
It's about 10mins ish away by cab from the south station, subway station isn't too far as well and it get you right to the south station.
Perfect for the low maintenance solo traveler. Only a 15-20 minute walk to the main convention center on Summer Street, straight up D street. Southie is undergoing steady renewal and can easily meet your basic travel needs. Broadway has plenty of food options. Albert was a great host and actually went out of his way to show me a little of Southie by car on my last day in town. Nice enough as well to drop me at the airport shuttle stop. His roommates were very quiet and their dogs were friendly and outgoing towards me. Any "barking issues" were short lived. No issues with the shared bathroom. This is a basic and small room as per the picture. For a quiet evening Whiskey, Head to the Clock Tavern on Broadway east of D street. I didn't need it, but the basement laundry has full sized machines. This is a row house, so no yard, but The Dorchester Heights monument park is a short walk away. I would stay here again if traveling solo to Boston. Space would not work well for two people as Albert is up front about. Slightly off the beaten path, but the best travel values always are.
The room was small and had all the basic necessities. If you don't like dogs, this might not be the place for you, since other people in the apartment have dogs, even though they're behind closed doors most of the times and are friendly. The house is near bus lines and it takes less than 10 mins to walk to the red subway line. As a host, Albert was great, welcoming and kind, had good tips for places to see and eat. He always replied quickly and has very helpful.
Albert was good enough to make use of his room for my trip from SFO into Quincy for a Mass. Test for Educational Licensure session. Albert kept in touch through the airbnb mobile application prior to my flight to coordinate our schedules. He was the first person in Boston to welcome me at Logan and introduced a roommate.
The room is a one-person base-camp close enough for a healthy walk into the city center or catching the T. Albert knows a few good places in the neighborhood for dining and sundries. He was flexible for check-out and able to keep my bags while I sat my exams.
So I met Albert thanks to Airbnb who is this totally energetic and enterprising individual not to mention a very generous host. He gave me some excellent pointers about his times in Boston & Cambridge. And also about his work which I found fascinating ... An added plus is the access to the beach from Albert's place which is about two miles from his place. Highly recommend it!
Quiet room in a quiet neighborhood. It's small and spartan – reminds me of a very small dorm room, with a shared bathroom downstairs. Basically, what you're getting is commensurate with the very affordable cost. Just prepare your expectations accordingly.
The location is semi-convenient to public transit, which is to say that it's close to a few bus lines but at least half a mile to the nearest T station so just be prepared for a small walk if you need to get to the Red Line. Host was polite and accommodating, especially given that I was checking in very late (after midnight).
I would stay here again based on price and proximity to Logan.
If you simply need a place to sleep, then this a good choice, especially if you need to be near the convention center as I did. The host is very responsive, although I never got to meet him in person. I was also able to come in late at night with no problems.
I did have some issues with my stay, beginning with the fact that there's no real door to the room; just a torn plastic folding screen. Given that there didn't seem to be a female roommate present as mentioned in the listing, being a female guest in an all male house was a little uncomfortable and having no door wasn't a help. This was exacerbated by the fact that there was someone actually sleeping in the living room during my stay. While I was invited to make myself at home, this was was difficult when I'd get in and want to relax but was restricted to the little room.
Albert did communicate with me during my stay, but I was unable to respond since my phone doesn't like Airbnb's mobile site. I'm not sure if there would have been anything that could have been done to help anyway.
In all, it's not a bad basic place to stay and I'd recommend it for that. Fortunately, I was so busy during my stay that the problems weren't overwhelming.
great location to Convention Center, when on a budget; small room as described; also easy access to Red LIne to Cambridge, airport etc.
Really cool people. Very active and spent lots of time sight-seeing despite the crappy weather. Sweet and easy to accommodate. Perfect guests!
Albert was a great guest! He was friendly, clean, and very easy going. He was always working hard and focused on his work. He had great conversations with the guests and everyone really liked him! I recommend him as a guest
It was a pleasure to host Albert. Communication was a breeze. My apartment was in good hands as he left the place in great condition. I highly recommend Albert.
