I had a very nice stay at Linda's flat, it's located at just a few walk steps from the true center of the city and it's easy to reach from the Prato's station.
The flat was very clean and was perfect for two persons!
If I'l be back in Prato, I'll book again this apartment!
The place was perfect! It's small and it has everything you need. It is so close to downtown. They provided snack for breakfast and even offered fresh linen and towels halfway through my stay. Thank you so much!
Linda was a kind host and we had a good experience. We are very glad we stayed here. The location is great. Finding the apartment was easy; we took a taxi from the train station for about 12€, and Linda and her family were there to check us in. Her father showed us around but he doesn't speak English; her mom tried though and we chatted using (website hidden) translate. The apartment is much as described and pictured: separate from the home with 2 floors. The staircases are small and winding but you can climb out the window and avoid them! The main floor has a sink and stove and fridge and kitchen utensils. Linda even provided a coffee pot with grounds and milk! We didn't spend much time on this main floor though because we upset the dogs and they would bark; they are really cute pets but smelly and loud. The second floor has a bed, dresser, and closet bathroom. The bed is comfy but sheets and pillows are old and worn; bring your own it you can. The bathroom is small but has the necessities. There is no hairdryer but the fan has an exhaust. And there are not screens on the windows, like most older places in Prato, so there are mosquitoes. Great price for what you get!!
My stay at Linda's was fantastic. I quite liked the setup of the small house which is suitable for 1 or 2 person. The house is VERY well furnished, much to my surprise; I am talking about dishwasher, oven, blender, coffee machine, etc, although I did not use them. Most of interraction was with her father, which means 100% in Italian, so one needs to be wary of that. Otherwise, Linda & family will just let you be on your own. The town is just 15 minutes by train to Florence with departures almost at every hour. I liked it a lot. With superb pricing for budget traveler, with easy train access to Florence, Pisa, etc, Linda's place is one of the best kept secret! Do not hesitate to stay here unless you really feel the urge to stay right at the doorstep of central Florence. Thank you to Linda & family. Hope to see you guys again!
Linda and her father were very helpful, despite not speaking much English we were able to communicate fairly well. The space was small but nice and cosy. It was separate from their main house so very private. They had two very cute dogs, who were generally very quiet and well behaved but we would recommend future guests wear shoes while outside in the courtyard area as sometimes there was dog urine on the tiles. Overall we had a lovely stay.
All perfect, quiet, nice and cozy room near the center. I Suggest linda's place to anybody who come to beautiful prato.
My wife and I had a great stay at Linda's apartment! Linda and her Dad were very kind, accommodating, and despite the language barrier were able to get settled quickly. They made sure we had everything we needed for a good night and light breakfast in the morning. The apartment was very clean with a large updated Kitchen, beautiful back porch, sitting room, good sized bathroom and a double bed in the bedroom. We mostly used the apartment as a landing pad to travel to Lucca and Portofino, so we weren't able to spend much time there, but the time we did was great! I would recommend Linda's apartment to any single person or couple traveling in and around Florence!
thanks I'm very happy chr siege there were fine ^ _ ^!
I felt pretty at home at this place.
Clean apartment with a well equipped kitchen. The neighborhood was quiet with easy and safe parking. When I arrived I discovered that Linda had provided materials for a nice breakfast! She had inquired of my breakfast habits before my arrival. There was a set of towels and a very comfortable bed for me. Linda had very prompt communication. I found both her and her parents to be friendly, inviting people. I had a sort of a conversation with Linda's father, though we didn't really share a common language we took a walk and he showed me to some restaurants near by. I'd be happy to stay again! thanks Much!
