Thank you for your review. I for my part loved your apartment and I also left you a very positive review. I have been renting quite a few AirBnB apartments myself and have never received bad feedback. I would like to correct a few of your accusations.
1) We did not leave a big mess. In fact my girl and I took great care that everything was in the place where you left it. We even took pictures in the beginning to make sure of that.
2) I indeed left the front door open for 10 minutes or so to air out CIGARETTE (not marijuana!) smoke that blew into the apartment when we were in your Jaccuzzi. I was not aware that having the front door open would be a problem, sorry for that. I would never smoke in a strangers house, not even my own.
3) Regarding the checking out I was a bit confused myself. There was no agreed time to check out when I booked the apartment. You wrote me around 1pm on the checkout day, that we have to leave soon because one of your guys is checking the apartment for new guests. This caught us a bit by surprise, so we felt free to leave our luggage at your place before we headed back home. Other than that the apartment was ready for the new tenants. However, we left some leftover stuff like beer for you in the fridge (no perishable goods!), we were not aware that this was not appropriate. We did not want to throw the stuff away. Is that the "mess" you were referring to?
It also has to be noted that you were not onsite yourself. All your infos in the review above were provided to you by a third party.
Again, I apologize for any inconveniences that occurred, this was by no means our intention!
