I am 34 years old. I am commercial, import/export. I born in Paris, I have been 3 years in Ireland. I like travel and meet different people.
His house is have very good location and the host is very cool guy. But his house is 5th floor without elevator. I have big luggage and It's very hard to go up stair.
And he and his friend is heavy smoker. And big problem is...The last day of in his house....He and his friend 3 person is come to his home and talking drinking so loudly. He turn on TV very loudly and noisy and talk, laugh....I can't sleep because of noisy.
I'm not recommend his house!!!!
Georges es un muy buen anfitrión y nos hizo sentir muy cómodos durante toda la estadía. Ojalá tengamos posibilidad de volver!! 100% recomendable!!
This is a shared apartment which means the guests must go through the living room where the host sleeps just to get to the bathroom - a very uncomfortable experience.
Nice stay in Paris. The place is really close to everything. And the host was nice enough to allow me with my cat.
I didn't see him much, he left us the whole apartment some days instead of the room only.
Great location with a great hoster.
Georges-Henri is such a great host! He was very hospitable, making me feel very at home, and introducing me to his friends who dropped by while I was there. I care a lot more about seeing people in another culture live their day-to-day life than I do about typical tourism, so for me that was lots of fun.
He does seem to spend the night away from the apt. quite a bit, possibly giving you some privacy if you want it.
It is on the 5th floor (what we Americans illogically call the 6th floor) without an elevator, so consider packing lightly.
Thanks once again for a great experience, Georges!
This is a really great place. Really big room and awesome location!
Besides, Georges is also a great and nice guy! I definitely will rent this place again if I visit Paris in the future!
Georges was great. He was very accommodating. His flat is right smack in the middle of this Lovely city of romance, Paris. Talk about convenience! But be fit & be ready to traverse 4 flights of stairs. No elevator. Make sure you pack light or not mind the somewhat streneous exercise. However, A stone's throw away, There's a fruit & wine shop, a Japanese ramen soup place, Asian cuisine, bistros & Cafe's. a street called petit Champs surely evokes what center Paris is all about: provocative, sensual, artistic, cultural, intellectual, architecturally energetic, a gastronomical paradise. A citizenry trying to change it's image of snobbery & snoot. Paris a decade or 2 later has become a city with a different kind of grace.... Graciousness.... Just like Georges.
All in all, perfectly fine. Don't climb the first set of stairs on the right with all your stuf, go to the back left corner. Make sure you get the full passcode. Pyramides and l'Opera will be your most convenient metro stops. Be prepared to climb 85 spiral steps with your bags, and you may have to do it in the pitch darkness if the lights aren't working. (which they weren't for us).
Georges is friendly and helpful, so we're generally pleased with the value for the cost. Paris is always delightful, and the placement of the apartment was just right for accomplishing the items we had planned. The bed was comfortable, the closet space excellent, the tap water fine, and the shower HOT. The shower curtain could have been cleaner, but the rest of the apartment was comfortable. Combine this apartment with a Paris Pass, or at least a metro pass, and you will have a pleasant 'home' and a breeze of a time getting anywhere you want to go.
Georges was a great host. He was so accommodating and friendly. The flat was very comfortable located in the center of the city , and walking distance to louvre . I highly recommend this place.
The appartment is really well located, walking distance from everything! The room is really nice, very large and confortable bed and George is a really great host, always ready to help and knowing the good places to go. The neighborhood is full of typical asian restaurants but also good brasseries and wine bars. well recommanded!
