Retired electronics engineer and moved from Seattle to China in 2005. My wife is Chinese, and we both travel extensively around the world. My other interests are photography, high tech goodies and food.
We enjoy taking in the local sights mixed with a wee bit of shopping. Dinning out to try all the different cuisines we come across. We are both past the late night party scenes, don't really care about clubbing or drinking. Neither one of us is into religion per se, but if we had to be "labeled", I guess we lean to Buddism.
After just designing and building our new home in China, we are taking a needed break and traveling in the USA for 3 months. My wife, Mia, wants to experience more of the USA, so I'm playing tour guide for her. Although she has been several times to the US, this will be a more in depth experience.
This is our first time using Airbnb as we usually book hotels for traveling. We are looking forward to a more personalized experience with traveling in the USA and the Airbnb community sounds like a pleasant way to do it.
