The apartament was exactly as advertized. We really enjoyed our stay there. It was confortable, clean and tidy. The location was perfect, super close to MET.
Graydon was an excelente host. Very kind and pacient, he was there for us every time we needed.
We definetly recomend his apartment and we hope to return soon!
Wow, Graydon’s apartment provided a great experience! The apartment was in a wonderful location, just a block from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a very classy part of town. The place itself was on the top floor of a very quiet apartment building with only two apartments per floor. We were at tree level and it was so quiet, we felt like we were in the country in a tree house. Notwithstanding, the place was elegant with antique-like furniture, plenty of light and the décor was all in white; white sofa was very comfortable, white tablecloth on the dining room table, white bedding and a very comfortable bed! There was a bathtub and a shower which were both very nice, though the water pressure wasn’t huge. I think this is just a product of being a New York apartment in an older building. The kitchen was tiny, and the only thing missing that could be added was a little microwave. Note, there was no dishwasher but for two of us the place was just perfect. I didn’t mind washing a couple of dishes.
We are in our mid 60s, so walking up four floors was a bit of a challenge. If we were tired at day’s end, we ordered dinner from (website hidden) (a food delivery service) – and really had some of the best food of our trip delivered to our top floor door!
Our host, Graydon, was wonderful, accommodating, attentive and responsive. The lady who cleaned and his Manhattan contact was named Jewel. She also was very pleasant and accommodating. She’s a bit of an athlete and I gave her an extra $20 to carry our heavier suitcases downstairs for us, which she was happy to do.
All in all, this was a wonderful place to stay in midtown Manhattan, just a block off Central Park. The restaurant on the corner “Nectar of 82nd Street” was good. Two blocks away is Lexington Avenue with a host of good reasonable restaurants in a variety of cuisines: Indian, lots of Italian, Thai, and American.

We highly recommend Graydon's top floor elegant apartment where we stayed for 5 nights. It's very clean, quiet, cozy and comfortable.
The apartment is located in one of the nicest, most desireable areas in NYC, close to Central Park and the MET.
Graydon is a very friendly and accommodating host: he could satisfy our needs and help us with logistics.
It was a wonderful experience! Thank you
We had the pleasure of hosting Graydon for 5 nights last week. If you have the opportunity to host him I would jump at it! When he checked out of his room on the last day he even went so far as to put clean sheets on the bed! A nice touch by a really nice guy. Highly recommended.
Graydon was the most considerate guest. He was tidy, quiet, and very respectful. I would have him back anytime!
