The stay was lovely. The accommodations were very nice, and the locals in nearby Doolin were very friendly. We loved our stay and would definitely visit again.
The host was very helpful, really nice and friendly. We enjoyed our brief stay.
We had a lovely stay in the cottage. We were made very welcome and the cottage was clean and very comfortable. Many thanks.
We had a wonderful stay! The location is perfect. Close to the Cliffs and a nice walk to the local pubs. Would highly recommend staying here!
The cottage was fine. The combustion stove was essential & hot water worked well. Good location for walking around the cliffs of mohr
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Abhaile cottage, great information from Susan before arrival and local knowledge from Ted when we got there meant we settled in straight away. The location was perfect and picturesque, helped by the beautiful weather. A great base for visiting cliffs of Moher, taking ferry to the Aran Islands and walking the Burren.
We enjoyed to stay in the Irish Traditional Cottage in Doolin. Once we open the door to the house we felt immediately at home and that somebody took real good care for us and for all our needs. Just make sure to pick up the key before hand from Ted, few houses behind the field in the back, especially if you arrive. Everything to the small details was there and it makes the stay very easy. The house was very tidy and clean. The instructions for lighting the fire were brilliant and the heating system of the house was great. Location is beautiful, just few minutes drive to Doolin where we enjoyed the music and the food. It's a place to come back to, the whole area is lovely. Many thanks. Idan
We really enjoyed the Abhaile Guest Cottage. It was in a beautiful location, just out of town with a view of the Irish countryside as it falls away to the west coast and the Atlantic Ocean. The neighbor / key keeper (Ted) was a wealth of information, very friendly and helpful (even gave us his ice cream on the first night), and an incredible singer in the local town pubs as well. The house was clean and perfectly outfitted with all of the necessary conveniences we needed, without a lot of clutter. My son played soccer in the backyard and my husband went birding along the road in the front. We played games at the dining room table and watched old movies on the TV. We did not have wifi, which was a wonderful break from the world. And the location is absolutely breathtaking with terrific access to the Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands, the Burren National Park, and the incredible Irish music in the pubs. It was a magical place to stay.
Cottage a few miles/km from Doolin.
I guess it's much better for trekkers and walkers than for people with youg children.
The cottage is nice, especially a warm living room, but a little bit pricey compared to other places we stayed in Ireland.
Heating is coal FYI.
Otherwise, the area is great, and the neighbor who keeps the keys, Ted, is really a welcoming and pleasant person !
Doolin is an amazing place! Lovely little village with couple nice pubs. Susan was really quick communicating. I was having a lot of trouble with my phone and internet and she really managed to get everything right.
The cottage is a very big place with a lot of room and an amazing view. It took us a little while to figure out the heating, but once it was properly started, the house got warm and cosy. We also had some issues finding the place but I think we were tired after the drive to get there as it is really easy to find.
The surroundings are beautiful and you can walk straight from the cottage and treat yourself with amazing sunsets.
There is no internet at the cottage, but you can get a free connection at the nearest pub and enjoy a pint while browsing the web.
