This was a great place to stay! For our visit to Austin for my sister's graduation, it was perfect! It was close to campus, easy to find, great area to walk around and we were even close to East Side Cafe, Haymaker, Thunderbird Cafe -all of walking distance. The house was clean and had everything we needed from dishes, coffee maker, Ozark water, roomy refrigerator, washer/dryer, comfy beds, and a great back yard to just relax and talk. The house was also great b/c I am one for modern conveniences and I loved the kitchen - gorgeous - and the house was always at the right temp (loved the nest!). Our host, Dallas, made us feel at home before, upon, and even after our arrival. He checked in with us while we were there and made sure after that we were ok as well. It was a perfect place to stay for our family! Thank you, Theresa Remek
Dallas, Thank You!
The Classic Bungalow was a perfect fit for my family's needs. Location, property and Dallas were all exceptional. Dallas himself was the perfect host, he dropped a pecan pie off 3 days into our stay.
Awesome, the total package at the Classic Bungalow. 5 STARS!!!!
This was my first experience with airbnb and it was excellent. Our host, Dallas, kept in touch from the start and was very helpful. The house we stayed in was much more than we expected. Everything was there that we needed. The neighborhood was just what we were looking for and we really enjoyed our stay. The front porch was especially nice, a perfect size, with fans and chairs. I was there every morning with coffee and friends. And Mr. Sweets, the local cat, came to visit too. The beds were comfortable, the house was updated and very clean. The bathrooms were fresh and plenty of towels and condiments. An overall great experience! I'm looking forward to another visit. Again, Dallas, our host was just (email hidden)anks Dallas!
Dallas' 3bd/3ba was perfect form my extended family and our weeklong stay. Two master suites with King beds, a 3rd bedroom with a queen bed and a twin mattress fit our needs exactly. Quick access to I-35, Travis Heights, SoCo & E. Austin make it ideal for soaking up Austin's Weird. Travis was always in contact, and made sure we had access to everything in the Condo complex.
Amazing house in a quiet neighbourhood, not far from downtown and with a quick access to the I-35.
The house has everything you may need, including water dispenser and central A/C. We really enjoyed the huge backyard with the ping pong table.
We didn't get to meet Dallas in person, but communication was great. He would answer in max. 10 minutes to every question we had.
The place was amazing. We had a fantastic time there. The pool was great. Dallas was a consummate host. Very responsive and helpful. Total mensch. Would highly recommend him to anyone.
Dallas was a great host and we very much enjoyed our long-weekend stay and first visit to Austin. Seven of our college friends reunited in Austin and the house was comfortable, with plenty of room to sleep, a decent dining room/living room to hand out and a very workable kitchen.
The location was convenient and Dallas' instructions for getting into the house were perfectly clear. It was easy to Uber everywhere (surprisingly close to the airport and downtown - less than a 10 minute ride!) and there was also easy parking in the attached garage. He was flexible and communicative about checkin/checkout times and even made some great suggestion about what we shouldn't miss on our first trip to Austin.
The only slightly misleading aspect of the listing is that it's a 2.5 bath (2 showers) which was not what we'd anticipated, but worked perfectly fine.
This house is situated in an awesome neighborhood, the kind you would like to grow up in. Very quit but close enough to places. The Host Dallas was very responsive and friendly. Very laid back and has his house set up nicely. Honestly , nothing bad to say. Thank You
Dallas' home was phenomenal and everything we could hope for during our time in Austin. I don't even know where to begin: a fantastic location (near downtown and the east side, but tucked into a cozy little neighborhood), a gorgeous back patio, very tastefully decorated interior. Anything you want from an airbnb listing--this place has it. Dallas himself was very hospitable and courteous, giving us great advice about nearby attractions and checking in halfway through our trip by text message to make sure everything was going well. Honestly, stay here. I'll be getting in touch with Dallas if I ever make it back to the capital of the Lone Star State!
The house was great. It was ready and accessible early and was spotless and exactly as described and in the photographs. A beautiful house in a great neighborhood, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in Dallas's house. Our only regret was not being able to spend more time in the awesome back yard. The front porch with two fans provided a great place to hang out in the evenings. Overall, we really enjoyed our time in Dallas's house and would definitely stay in the house again in a heartbeat.
Dallas was a great guest.. Barley knew anyone had stayed here while I was gone. Clean respectful and communication was a breeze. Highly recommend him and his girlfriend as guests.
