I highly recommend renting this property. A group of 7 women stayed here for four days and it was amazing. The patio is enclosed and beautiful, the rooms are welcoming, and two washrooms made getting ready so much easier. I would stay again. The neighbourhood is quiet and inviting, and walk-able to everything.
Just a heads up, if you are travelling internationally, like us, the internet wasn't working. I had done planning beforehand, so this wasn't a huge setback. It was inconvenient, but wouldn't keep me from renting again. There are coffee shops, and such, in the area that have WiFi, but it was difficult.
It was a cozy spot to call home, cook meals, and relax.
Nice and pleasnt guests very easy to deal with.
The location is good. But the house is litter bit old and disrepair. When we arrived the ceiling was fall two large pieces of. Then we can't contact the host.
The home has a very central location in a fun area (right around the corner from the famous bagel shop). Although it was hard to find --especially at night, when we arrived--the alley it was nestled in was quiet. It had plenty of space for our kids and very clean, true to the photos. We had a great experience here.
This property is in a great place in Montreal if you want to feel like you are staying in a hip, urban neighborhood. It would be great for a group (we were only two people), because its common spaces are large and would be good for social dinners, etc. Having two stories (plus a basement for laundry) and a nice outdoor space further makes it great for a group. Although we were there to visit Montreal, we found it hard to leave the lovely back porch, where we enjoyed coffee each morning. There are many spices and cooking utensils in the kitchen that make the idea of a summer dinner al fresco very appealing.
Great place in a great neighborhood. Not sure if the outside deck was advertised but it was a pleasant surprise that we utilized during out one night stay.
We arrived at the house about 15 minutes early and the cleaner was still there and confused as she said she wasn't expecting us for 2 days. She spent another 1.5 hours cleaning as we waited outside but rushed and we noticed the bathrooms weren't very clean. The location was great-you could walk to many local shops. The house was very large and had lots if room for 6 adults. Beds were okay but not great and pillows were very flat and could do with replacing. Many lightbulbs were burnt out-in both bathrooms and most importantly the outside light which was needed to punch in the code on the door? Parking was a nightmare-we got a ticket the first night even though we thought we understood the very confusing signage. Some days we had to drive quite far away to secure a free space. The garbage and recycling left on the street was smelly and distracted from the neighbourhood but that is how they do it in Montreal.
The house was everything we hoped it would be, perfect for 6 of us to stay comfortably without feeling like we were stepping on each other's toes! The fact that there is a comfortable seating area upstairs and downstairs is great! We absolutely LOVED staying in Mile End, it's such a lovely residential area full of quirky little cafes shops and restaurants. The houses in the area are beautiful and the people were all very friendly, so glad we decided to stay in Mile End. Stefan was very helpful throughout our stay, we contacted him a few times about various things and he was always quick to respond and help us in any way he could. We would definitely recommend this house, it is a great size for 6 people without feeling cramped, and the area is quiet and lovely!
They are a very nice family and left the place quite clean. Would definitely recommend!
Stefan and his family were great guests!
Easy to communicate with, prompt on arrival and left the apartment in great condition!
Stefan stayed in our house in Granada and proved to be a model guest. He was respectful of the property and diligent in his communications with our agent. I would have no hesitation in recommending him again.
Stefan has been an excellent guest. He was very easy to communicate with and left the apartment very clean and tidy. I warmly recommend him as a guest and I welcome him back on any occasion!
Stefan was a very courteous guest, and it was a pleasure to have his family stay with us at Chalet Brochaux! The feedback is greatly appreciated and we are making all of the changes he has suggested to improve our guest experience.
We hope to welcome Stefan again!
Gostei imenso de conhecer e de receber o Stefan e a sua família.
Voltarei a recebê-los sempre que quiserem voltar e creio que esta minha opinião será certamente a de muitas outras pessoas.
Very nice family! Everything impeccable!
