Me: helicopter pilot, flying emergency medical services (EMS) and charter missions throughout Southern California and Baja California Mexico. Also do part time aviation consulting for the local power company, SDG&E. Former U.S. Naval Aviator. Just starting to travel, have been to England and Scotland once, Australia twice, Mexico quite a bit for work, Canada once, and looking forward to more trips. I've been with my husband for15 years, and we married in 2008 during the brief window in California when such marriages were legal.
My husband, Stewart: retired U.S. Army Colonel, an electrical engineer by trade. Taught at West Point, two tours in Vietnam with the Army Corps of Engineers, and currently a program manager in an environmental engineering firm. But looking to retire soon. Stewart has two kids: Caroline who lives in Melbourne Australia with her son, and Chris who lives in Spokane Washington with his two sons and three step kids.
We haven't used Airbnb, but our typical profile is to have a place essentially to unwind and then sleep, and otherwise we are out and about, so I would consider us very low maintenance. We don't smoke, love dogs, are ambulatory (we can climb stairs..!!); and Stewart is an extrovert, me an invtrovert. Stewart loves country and gospel music, and I love college indie music and, in a nod to my adolescence, 80's pop music.
