The view from the house is absolutely amazing, and the surroundings extremely quiet, very good location to relax. However we found the inside of the house smaller than expected for 5 people, and quite dark (only few small windows, unfortunately).
Overall, I would recommend the house for a visit of the beautiful nearby mountains (Lovcen natural park) rather than for a visit of Kotor, as you need a solid 30- to 40-min drive on narrow, curvy, steep mountain roads to reach the bay. It's a bit of a hassle as you can barely cross other vehicles and the traffic can be heavy during high season.
Very nice house with wonderful view. It is as described.
No problems in finding the place. A quiet site with a beautiful sight to Durmitor. Pavle was ready available and left a local mobile phone in the house for us.
Amazing location! Rustic mountain house, a bit of a drive from Kotor but well worth it. Pavle was easy to meet and very welcoming. Would recommend for anyone who wants something a bit different.
Great location between seaside and mountain. Perfect for four people and may be a bit narrow for five. But we spent most of the time on the terrace with the great view on the bay of Kotor. Communication with Pavle and his sister was perfect.
We had an exciting 4 day trip to Montenegro and stayed at this apartment. The first encounter was somewhat surprising, as the road to the house is risky, a one lane steep road. But the view, cool temperature and calmness totally worth it if you are adventurous enough. The apartment was cozy and nice with enough equipment and tools (I even found a screw driver to fix my broken glasses). The whole house is not included in this offer, as Pavle's uncle was visiting there, though he was a very nice and social person.
House is divided in two exactly same apartments, you can rent one or both apartments if you like, but everyone has their own privacy, you only share a yard. The other apartment we hardly rent, mainly use it for personal use at very minimum.
Мы неожиданно нашли этот дом. Это было самое яркое впечатление за время путешествия.
Павел очень крутой!
This is an amazing place. We didn't really know about Montenegro and Kotor Bay before this trip. The house is great and our kids loved it. The location is something special; peaceful, beautiful views and pleasantly cool in the evenings when it was quite oppressive lower down. Pavle was a fantastic host and contributed greatly to our stay in Montenegro. I can't recommend this enough and we'll certainly be going back! Pavle has another place in northern Montenegro too that we'll be checking out.
We loved to stay in Pavle and Janja house! We spend a wonderful time there! A small paradise above the mountain! Perfect to disconnect from the city and enjoy nature. The view is gorgeous and full of poetry!
The house is lovely and confortable! We enjoyed it! Pavle, his wife and all his family are very kind and welcoming people. We recomende the house 100%!
Thank you both of you and best regards to all your family,
