This place was exactly as advertised, nice little apartment in a great location. The street is a little loud because it is right near a hospital, we used earplugs so no problem.
Danielle was super responsive and helpful and left detailed instructions for us.
We had a great time in Denver. Thanks Danielle!
The studio apartment was accurately described. Danielle was prompt in responding to questions about the apartment and booking requests. Price was reasonable, and check in/check out was no problem. Would definitely consider booking it again.
I booked Danielle's studio apartment for a five night stay in Denver in August 2013. It was my first Air BnB experience, and I was a little nervous to try. Danielle called me five minutes after I made my online reservation and we had a nice talk. She's very thorough and pleasant, and sent me detailed and personable emails with suggestions for our stay and information on the apartment complex.
The building is funky and modern and in a fantastic location. We ate at St. Marks and watched all the funky Denver denizens and then walked down town to the Art Museums and the outdoor malls. We had such a good time, and the on street parking was a breeze.
The apartment was clean and the bed is super comfortable. I wish there had been a place to put our clothes, but it wasn't a problem. The little blue couch pulls out and my son was happy to sleep there.
I will definitely book with Danielle Jefferis when I plan my next trip to Denver.
We've stayed in a few AirBnb places now, and I'd say this is by far the best experience we've had. Thanks, Danielle!
We stayed here on our trip to Denver recently because it was cheap and definitely close to everything in Denver. Danielle was very easy to work with which was great and made us feel comfortable. Overall, I would say the place is pretty functional if you're planning on basically using it to sleep and get ready for the day. The kitchen had some of the essentials - only plastic silverware, no pans for the stove, no toaster which was a bummer and the oven doesn't have a baking pan that fits so when we went to make anything in it, we had to use the microwave instead. We also noticed there wasn't a garbage can and there wasn't any extra paper towels, toilet paper, or any extra anything, really. The only TP roll was on the bathroom floor in the back corner and it was dusty and really gross so we had to go buy more. I'd say really that was probably the one thing that bothered us - the place isn't nearly as clean as it looks in the photos. It's really dusty and the bathroom needs a new shower curtain and generally a deep cleaning. Again, for what we needed it for, it worked. If you don't like street noise (or any noise), definitely don't stay here because the street outside the window is QUITE noisy throughout the day and definitely at night. You have to keep the window open since there doesn't seen to be any AC - at least we couldn't find anything. Lucky for us, it was cool on our stay. The neighbors weren't too loud but you do hear banging around every so often which can get irritating. One thing to mention would be the TV situation. Channels come in and out so that's choppy and hard to watch but the Apple TV/Netflix situation was pretty miserable - streaming anything was a nightmare between 5-10pm when we were usually around eating dinner/getting ready for bed. It's very choppy and half the time didn't work. Luckily, we weren't glued to the TV nor did we need to since we were on vacation. Just a heads up on that. Overall though, like I said, it's functional and if you're just using it to sleep and you're running in and out, it's perfect. It's close to everything, street parking was super easy, and Danielle is great to work with - she's very responsive to any issues you bring up. We had a blast in Denver and thank Danielle for letting us use her place for our stay!
This apartment was exactly as stated, simple, clean, and central. Danielle was very good with communication about arriving/'check-in', and it was easy to get in. A little dark inside, and no AC, but for the cost I have no complaints. I would definitely stay here again!
Great apartment: simple, but clean and safe, and an excellent value. Communication was very good and there were no issues checking in or out.
The studio appartment is very cute and fairly close to the Northwest neighborhood which has a lot of nice restaurants on it. It was a great homebase for our stay in Denver. One potential downside - the windows face a relatively busy street and with the windows open there is a lot of noise coming in (and keeping hte windows open keeps it cool in summer). If you aren't used to city noise, it could be a problem. Otherwise, no issues.
Danielle's apartment a fantastic place to stay if you're going to be in the Denver area for several days. I found the walk into downtown to be very pleasant, and even made the trek to Coors Field a couple of times (about a 30 min walk). I previous reviewer made a comment about the bed ... I have to agree, extremely comfortable. Made it hard to get up in the morning!
Can't beat the price on this cozy little studio apartment. Danielle was a great host - so responsive and accommodating. Her apartment is centrally located and clean. Exactly what we needed for a weekend in Denver!
Danielle was a great guest to have, she was only in town briefly over night so we didn't get a lot of time to talk. She was on it when it came to letting us know about her arrival since her flight was pushed back. If you get the chance to host her we highly recommend her and would be happy to host again in Detroit.
Its interesting when someone writes one bad review for a place which had not yet had any bad review and the following guests find the place great bargain in a lovely neighborhood. I was travelling abroad and I had a guest staying my other room when Danielle last minute booked my place. I had instructed my house service to clean the place before her arrival but I don't think they did a stellar job. However Danielle's review and the language she used to described my place was disconcerting. I usually rent my place at 50% more than what I offered it to her. Its a bit disheartening when someone like her leaves bar remarks on an otherwise stupendous review history. Sorry but I don't think I would like to host a high maintenance guest like her again.
Danielle is a very responsible, professional young woman. She's worked hard all her life to meet her goals and beyond. I've known Danielle all her life and never known her to be anything but warm, bright and positive. She is adventuresome, friendly and kind and will make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Her apartment is clean, well-kept and cozy and close to all the conveniences of downtown Denver.
Danielle is a friend from law school. I can vouch that she is friendly, responsible, and fun. Ask her about the time she met John Hamm at the Passenger in DC. Oh, and of course her dogs. I'd pay double just to hang out with those cuties.
