The neighborhood was very nice and Max was very kind and had everything ready for us! He even treated us to several Czech beers which was a treat!!! The flat is nice, plenty of hot water in the shower and the bed was very comfy!!! We actually got to see the Prague fireworks from the rooftop so we have to say the location was more than perfect!! The flat has the perfect location near a market and near transportation! The apartment building is immaculate and always has an attendant on duty! It was a great stay!!! Highly recommend it!!!
The apartment was very convenient to the metro and food shopping. Max didn't meet us at the apartment, he said the key was at the front desk. The desk clerk didn't speak English and it was quite a fiasco for him to locate the key. We were left instructions on the kitchen table with basic info. Figuring out how to use the washer (not in English) was a pain. We had to finally ask Max how to work the dryer, only to be told there wasn't one (as listed in amenities). We located a drying rack behind the couch that we had to balance on the table because it was broken. The kitchen had all we needed for food preparation. We could have used more than one bath towel each for 5 days. The sheets and bed were comfortable although honestly we were afraid of breaking the bed the way it bowed and creaked (we aren't THAT BIG). The wifi was smoking fast never gave us trouble. I was VERY disappointed that the hot tub was not working it was my main reason for booking this unit. I had been clear about that from our first email when I booked. The couch was ripped and torn just covered with a blanket. The apartment was clean and decorated nicely (we are totally stealing your hand holding photo idea). It really worked well for what we needed. The problems weren't major (other than the lack of a dryer) just a nuance, we really did enjoy our stay in Max's place and would even consider it again if we're came back to Prague.
The appartment was cozy and clean. It is close to a tram station that takes 5 minutes to the center. It was a great stay in Prague and we hope to come back soon.
Max was super attentive and made our stay in Prague really enjoyable.
Max was a great host, super attentive and made our stay in Prague really enjoyable. The apartment is right near a train and tram station that take you into the city centre within 5 minutes!
We stay there for 3 nights, the location is superb! With a supermarket just few steps ! However the internet is not working
Next time I think I will still stay here!
Evaluation of our stay in Max' flat this August:
- 1 room flat -
Lets start with positive aspects:
(+) 2 min to Metro - You can go everywhere in no time
(+) opportunity to cook
(+) supermarket 1 min away
(+) its Prague ;)
But we also had some negative experience:
(-) no wifi/internet! - we wrote Max on Whatsapp. He wanted to call his ISP.
(-) hot tube out of order - Max left a paper on the kitchen table to inform us (AFTER ARRIVAL)
(-) no key for the main entrance - usually someone at the reception opened the door for us. But one night we arrived a little late at night. No one was sitting there. Fortunately some minutes later a couple came out of the building and so we could get in. Its a bad feeling if u dont know if u can get into your flat or not.
(-) Max didnt answer when we wrote him about the last issue mentioned above.
In a nutshell:
We were a little disappointed about the flat. But we've had a good time in Prague. Next time we would try another offer. The price per night seemed not appropriate.
We didn't meet Max but he seems veeeery nice and he was very helpful. The apartment was small but you don't even notice that it's small because it's organised in a very smart way. We had a great time in Prague and if we would go there again, we would probably again choose the same apartment. The only problem is that the apartment is really hot in the mornings but it didn't bother us. Metro station and a supermarket are reeeeaaaally close and you need less than 10 minutes to reach the centre. To sum up, very nice! :)
Max is easy to deal with, responsive at any time and a very attentive host.
The apartment itself is cosy and functional. We enjoyed having our breakfast on the rooftop terrace. The free parking possibilities come as a bonus. The Metro/Tram station is literally just around the corner (you need to have coins!!).
Pay attention to Max advice concerning restaurants! You won't regret it...!!
It was great place to stay. It's safe and beautiful. We can enjoy the sight in the 8 floor place and it's really near to subway station. And there is supermarket just downstairs. It was perfect site. And the host leave us the famous prague beer and chocolete. It was so sweet. Clean house. But maybe the painting on the wall doesn't finished well untill we leave from the place. That was only one uncomfortable thing and actually that was nothing. Highly recommand!
We had a nice stay at Max's apartment. He provided us with great information and the room was very clean and inviting. The location was great and only a short train ride from the main square- even better was that the building was right outside the metro station! Max was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!
Maks stayed in our apartment for 4 nights and he was a nice guest. He left the apartment in clean condition. I recommend Maks to other hosts!
Max and Sarka are a lovely friendly couple and we really enjoyed meeting them and talking to (website hidden) was a pleasure to have them stay in our home. They were perfect guests and we would be very happy to host them again.
