Years ago when I would say I wanted to be a filmmaker, people would say that I should do something else. I have always been doubted, but that doubt has driven me to success and made me who I am today. As a teen, my coach told me something that would forever live with me, “Miggy, only the dead fish swim with the stream.” This one phrase put me in motion to accomplish things I never thought were imaginable.
I have traveled all throughout my life. After high school, I started a successful clothing company catered to the skating community. Some years later, I put that dream on hold to pursue my Bachelor’s degree. From age 16-21, I traveled to many locations filming skating. I was a Producer/Director of an eye-opening documentary about a group of strangers who biked from Door County in Wisconsin to Chicago, IL. A few years ago, I went to Thailand to film a documentary and when I finished, spent two weeks in the mountains living with the monks.
I always have big ideas and constantly strive to accomplish them. I will go anywhere and do anything to get things done. Having five plus years in the film industry, I am very knowledgeable about the industry. My career passion is a blend of film, marketing, advertising, technology, creativity and education.
