The host canceled my reservation 3 days before arrival.
Christian was super kind with us and the flat was very clean. Maybe a bit smaller than expected but it was fine. The only problem were the neighbors, always bumping the wall every time we were just talking to each other. The very day we checked in, only after 10 minutes in the apartment they started knocking the wall, despite the fact that it as 6pm. After one hour they showed up to complain. Considering that we had spent that hour working on our computers writing articles in complete silence and with no music, it was really odd.
The flat is really central, let of shops and great area. Highly suggested and great host.

Christian was a very attentive and accommodating host who was available via email or telephone whenever I contacted him throughout my stay. The flat is very well located for Metro lines, a great bakery, groceries stores, and for easy access to Le Marais. As it faces the interior light well, it is super quiet at night, but also not very bright during the day.
It is best suited for a couple, as the second bed is a sofa that, when pulled-out, will block the front door.
The bed is quite comfortable, the bedding very good, and the apartment can be as warm as you would like it.
The only negatives:
-the internet access was frustratingly spotty as was the television signal. Of the 6 nights I stayed, the internet worked only 3 of them.
-the downstairs neighbours would pound on their ceiling the minute you walked around with shoes on.
-there is no mount for the shower head so you have to hold it while taking a shower, which can be frustrating.
Otherwise, the flat was comfortable and a very good place to sleep.
Christian was extremely prompt and professional in replying and contacting me once I submit my request for a booking. Everything went smoothly and the apartment is as good as it looks. The location is lovely and very conveniently situated for multiple transportation options, without being in a typically touristic area (something I value highly). The only thing to consider is the fact that the apartment exists within a normal residential building and there is a neighborly etiquette to adhere to. Overall, great apartment and great experience. Highly recommended.
Christian was a wonderful host. He was very easy to get a hold of, and he left us a list of restaurant recommendations which was a nice touch. The apartment left a bit to be desired though. The photographs were misleading: Rather than being large, bright, and clean, the apartment was small, dimly lit and somewhat dirty. We also had a problem with fruit flies the three days we were there. The location was great, though.
The apartment was small but really nice and cozy and in a lively and really nice and central area of Paris. The owner of the flat, Christian, was delightful and inviting and so helpful and patient. The street is quiet and a welcoming place after a long day out on the town. You should defenitly choose to stay here when you will be in Paris...
Christian was just as other reviewers have mentioned—sweet, charming and completely willing to be in constant contact. He was there when we got locked out, and he was able to provide us with an adapter when we couldn't find one in the apartment.
The apartment is in a very central location, which made walking to a lot of the tourist sites very easy. It is a bit further north than a lot of the shops and restaurants, but there are a few right around the corner (though they wrap up pretty early).
This being a first trip to Paris for my boyfriend and myself, and also our first time using Airbnb, we didn't know what to expect. Walking into the apartment, it was hard to miss all the flies on the wall and in the entry way. The garbage is kept on the first floor at the entry so you are immediately greeted by flies and an intense smell whenever you leave or enter the place.
The apartment itself is clean, but the flies do find their way into the apartment. This is not Christian's fault, as perhaps the late summer season and also the garbage in the building contributes to that. The bathroom shower handle leaks, and coupled with the short shower curtain, it was difficult not to make huge puddles on the bathroom floor while showering.
Overall, the location of the apartment made getting to and from places very easy.
We had a large family of five and were very comfortable staying in the studio. The apartment is convenient to the subway and local attractions. Christian is a wonderful host, very accomodating.

Christian was super. We arrived late (near midnight) and he was there to greet us at his charming flat. The flat is an awesome location. The restaurants located just downstairs on the narrow street are probably some of the best small neighborhood restaurants in Paris. Wow, I'm still tasting that foie gras ice cream in Asparagus soup; serious.
Bathroom is tiny, but the flat is spacious, light and good for a couple or even two work mates, as was the case in my stay. I would definitely stay at this flat again.
Christian was an excellent guest, he stayed at my house for a month. He always took care of himself and was very self-sufficient, clean friendly and very considerate. He makes a welcome guest for any host.
Christian is a very good guest. Really polite, discreet but social at the same time. He is very kind and clean. I recommend Christian as a guest.
Cristian took good care of my flat. Though we didn't meet in person, the communication was very good.
