Shannon was very welcoming and friendly! She made us feel completely welcome and like one of the family! I would love to go back and visit again.
Thank you, Shannon for your amazing hospitality for us last weekend! My husband and I were deeply touched with Shannon's graciousness, kindness, and her family stories filled with her love and service. Her breakfast was delicious and beautiful as she is a professional chef who owns a restaurant in town.
We were visiting Corvallis for our daughter's swim meet over the weekend, and we were so glad to stay in this peaceful and spacious house in the wood. After a long meet viewing with so much noise and excitement, this house was truly our haven!
The Corbins are wonderful hosts. The room was clean, spacious, and well-stocked, the property was gorgeous and peaceful, and breakfasts were delicious! I would absolutely recommend staying here without any reservations. Shannon's hospitality and warmth far surpassed my expectations.
Shannon and her family are very welcoming hosts. She put a lot of efforts into the space she rents out. It is crafted beautifully and the breakfasts were delicious. I especially enjoyed the interesting international conversations among the family and the people being present.
Shannon has an amazing home. It's huge! It is in a wonderful location (I saw deer!). The whole family was great to hang out with and the breakfast was incredible. If I hadn't already made plans for the next days I would have extended my stay in a heartbeat. Would definitely recommend
This was my first Air BnB experience and it was marvelous. Shannon was incredibly welcoming and a delight. Her home is spacious, inviting and very comfortable. I felt right at home. Coffee and breakfast was delicious. Will come back in the spring.
Had a great time in this beautiful home. The bed was comfortable, the breakfasts were delicious and Shannon was a delightful hostess.
This was the perfect spot to stay for a quick trip to Corvallis. It's perfect for anyone looking for a quiet, clean, cute, perfectly located spot to stay if you're catching a Beavers game or visiting someone for the weekend.
Shannon's welcoming, "make yourself at home!" was truly genuine and followed through. Our room was spacious, clean, beautiful, and had attached to it a luxurious wash room. The shower is a piece of art in itself.
Breakfast was also outstanding; good, wholesome and delicious foods were offered then and throughout our stay.
This place has it all: scenery, solid architecture, comfy bed, enchanting fireplace (in the common space), private hot tub, cool hostess/family, and ease of stay. Highly recommended.
This little house was perfect for my small family. It's not fancy, no special bells and whistles; what it is is well-equipped, cozy, excellently situated in walking distance to downtown and OSU (and close to a playground), and everything functions smoothly. The neighborhood was quiet. Great to have off-street parking. Cadet heaters, so we could adjust each room temperature to our liking. Our vacation went unbelievably well, thanks in no small part to the ease we found staying at Shannon's place.
Oh, and there's a blow dryer, so no need to pack your own ;)
Madelaine, Shannon's daughter, was a delightful guest. She was easy going, pleasant and fit right in.
Good luck selecting a college!
I wish I could give 6 stars. Shannon and her daughter were the most generous, friendly guests we have ever had. Best of luck to you both!
Shannon's scheduled check in time was 10pm, but ended up checking in at around 12-12:30 at night. I told her it was fine, but as I had prior plans to leave after her scheduled check in, I left my son handle the check in. Shannon stayed for two nights, would leave early in the morning and come home late at night, so I didnt get a chance to get to know her. At the end of her visit, she left before I woke up. She then wrote a review that I didnt greet her when she checked in or out.
