I loved this place! The location is amazing, the neighborhood is very charming with lots of restaurants, bars and cafes. Definitely get breakfast at Tom's at least once! The studio has a great setup - it's clear someone put a lot of work into it - there are hooks, shelves, lights, ect all right where you need them, so even though it's a studio it feels big and comfortable, and super cute! Anthony was a perfect host, he was actually waiting at the apartment when I showed up so I didn't have to wait for a second - every part of the process was a breeze. Would definitely stay again!
Anthonys Studio is a perfect place to stay in when you want to visit Manhattan and Brooklyn. Good location, 5 min walk to the subway, and 15 min on the subway to Soho. The studio feelt safe and was clean. Anthony always responded immediately to any questions we had about the internet or else around the studio.
We came to stay at Anthony's place in Brooklyn for a week as part of a cross country adventure. We wanted to be centrally located to catch up with friends in Manhattan and Brooklyn and to do some sightseeing. The place is awesome in terms of location--not only is it a super short walk to the 2/3 subways as well as a 15 minute walk to other subways, making it accessible to Manhattan, the neighborhood is thriving. Several cafes, restaurants, a world class museum and park nearby. First Saturday of the month at night there's a big party at the Brooklyn Museum! Free! Anthony's place is lovely--nothing fancy, but we were delighted with the design details, the blue walls and sheets, the chalkboard doors, the prints of bus transfers. There's a computer with access to television and movies and plenty of space to spread out after a long day of visiting and sightseeing. We loved being able to cook breakfast and in and make use of the espresso machine (saved us a bit of money). Plus, Anthony is super accessible and helpful and the neighborhood is full of friendly people. The laundromat is right next door to his place. We always felt part of a community and super safe walking around even really late at night. Our first day here was the Sunday before Halloween and we sat in a local ice cream place painting pumpkins and drinking coffee before meeting Anthony. Being on the road can be hard because we are away from our routine, but Anthony's studio and the neighborhood gave us the sense of a home away from home. We definitely hope to come back and visit again.
Lovely apartment in an a great part of Brooklyn. Anthony was a very welcoming and helpful host. The apartment was homely and clean. Really comfortable bed and excellent shower. Would highly recommend going to Tom's diner for breakfast, Sit and Wonder for coffee and The Islands for delicious Caribbean food.
Me and my boyfriend had a great time in Anthony's place. The apartment is cosy and corresponds to the pictures available in the website. What we most liked was the apartment's location: it's in a nice neighborhood ambiance, close to parks, subway stations and within a commercial area where you can easily find groceries, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Anthony made a selection of some of them for us. Manhattan is accessible very easily by subway. In addition, Anthony was a very friendly person, easy to communicate with.
We staied at Anthony between the 9/21-28.

and its 7 mins from the subway and 20 min to Times Squre.
Anthony's Brooklyn studio was perfect for my latest trip. Easy communication and quick, the process couldn't have been easier. Neighborhood is cool, lots of cute bars and restaurants and convenient to the subway. The beautiful Prospect Park is just a few blocks away. Would be happy to stay here again. Thanks, Anthony!
This time it was my wife Connie who stayed for a few days at Anthony's place, and once again it was great: perfect location and perfect host.
This is a great place to stay - especially for a single or couple who want easy access to Manhattan (15 minutes by train) but do not wish to be in the thick of it all the time. Access to Cony Island and the beach is also easy. It is very close to excellent public transport nodes. A great park is within walking distance. Good places to eat are nearby. It is a very good location and functional flat. Anthony is a great host. Available if need be - but unobtrusive. He has even provided a stocked liquor cabinet if you fancy an odd cocktail. I recommend Anthony's flat and wish to thank him for providing it for the use of others.
Great area of Brooklyn, great place to stay, it served the purpose of my visit perfectly, and Anthony was the perfect host.
