I'm a professional writer, married, no kids or pets, living in Georgetown in Washington, DC. My husband and I both have master's degrees in fine art and love nature, architecture, history, and good conversation. Our own home would be described as efficient (570 sq ft!), modern, minimalist, with a place for everything and everything in it's place. We are both very neat and tidy and know how to respect a space and the possessions within. I also frequently travel with my two sisters and my mother, who each have their own home decorating blogs and design businesses.
Five things I can't live without are books, quiet time, songbirds, sweets, and family. When I travel, I like finding out what locals love best about a place and embracing whatever a region has to offer. I've traveled all over the world and my favorite place is the one I'm visiting next. I still don't know what "good coffee" means and I'll eat anything you put in front of me. I don't believe in mottos, but, if I had to pick one, it would be "just go with it."
I look forward to the privilege of staying at your home.
