Thank you for being so hospitable.
It's a lovely place with extremely good owner!
We really liked our stay at Habib's place. He's a warm and wise person, very caring, he will do everything to let you feel great. I regret that we were at Habib's place for only one night.
The communication between us was really efficient. We checked in without any problem ( actually habib picked us up and drove us back to the train station when we left). The location is very convenient : 5 min drive from Sale ville train station, 10 min walking from a tram station. The room is spacious and clean. The view from the terrace gorgeous. Habib is a very nice person : helpful, interesting and very welcoming. We were a bit sick and he prepared us a soup to feel better. It s a pitty we could not stay longer! Thanks again Habib!
The best part about staying at Habib's is Habib himself. He went out of his way to help us make the most of our stay in Rabat (Salé). He picked us up from the train station, drove us to a much needed beer store, accompanied us the the Grande Mosquée, showed us the way for our journey from his rooftop terrace. Breakfast was fresh :) Skimo the Lab was a very well behaved puppy. We miss him already. If we ever go back to Rabat, it'll be with Habib!
Simply put, Habib was a wonderful host! We truly enjoyed hearing about his fascinating life story around the world (NYC, Florida, Europe, etc.) as a chef. My sister and I loved helping to cook (and devour) homemade roast chicken, eggs, and orange juice during our stay. Habib generously showed us the sites in Rabat and was extremely patient with us when we got lost and had struggles during our trip. Also, his dog is adorable :) Thanks so much, Habib!
If you are staying in Rabat, you simply must stay with Habib.
Habib is the quintessential host! We absolutely loved staying with him and it was a favorite memory from our two week trip. His place is amazing, super easy to find (no idea why the previous reviewer had trouble, GPS works great), with great views.
And, simply put, Habib is a wonderful host. He’s travelled the world as a cook and lived in New York for many years. He’ll be happy to practice his English with you, and if you’re lucky enough to have him cook for you, you’re in for an amazing meal. My boyfriend still raves about the lamb tagine Habib cooked for us as one of the single best meals he’s ever had. Habib is humble with a glowing, positive outlook on life. We stayed up late into the night over a few glasses of wine talking with him and a friend of his who stopped by.
The next morning we went up to the rooftop terrace, which wasn’t mentioned in the listing. It offers a beautiful unobstructed view of the city and what’s left of the massive minaret that dominates the port. It’s a great place to have coffee and get your bearings.
All in all we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Habib is simply lovely and the way he shares his home and stories of his life are the reason we stay with Airbnb.
Thank you Habib (and Kimou!) for your amazing hospitality.

First, the web site shows the wrong location for Habib's house; it's 2-3 miles east, across the river. It's a nice neighborhood, but access without a car is a challenge, although it's walking distance ( to let me in. I think this is just inexperience, but you might want to ask in advance.
