Hello! I am a pasty Englishman, living with my girlfriend and two cats in a small North London flat. I work as a web producer at the BBC, where I've somehow managed to stay for 7 years. One of the best things about that has been the opportunity to work with some of my favourite comedians, which, as a comedy nerd, has been a dream come true.
In my spare time I've been taking advantage of London's thriving music 'scene', originally as a habitual gig-goer but for the last few years playing drums in a very noisy band called (ahem) Ice, Sea, Dead People.
Though I'm in a loud band, I wouldn't describe myself as a noisy person - I don't drink alcohol and one of my hobbies is playing boardgames. So I can assure you I wouldn't be a noisy or anarchic houseguest (unless, perhaps, I'm forced to share with wasps).
When I go on holiday I like to do *stuff* - I'm not one for sitting on a beach. Highlights have included exploring subterranean Naples, finding the 'Ten Thousand Buddhas' monastery in Hong Kong, going on a Haunted Tokyo tour, and stumbling upon Les Savy Fav playing in a disused Brooklyn swimming pool.
I like eating dim sum, and I have read several books.
