My name is Charlene and I recently graduated from Indiana University with my Masters in Education. I currently work for the Center on Congress at Indiana University and the Library of Congress, under a grant called Teaching with Primary Sources. I am a musician, a designer, a dreamer. I primarily play bassoon, more classical than jazz, but can also play a few other instruments. I am an activist for deep, meaningful education. I enjoy examining the ways in which we interact with the world and each other. I am a quiet atheist, meaning that everyone has a right to believe in what they will. My views are neither right nor wrong - they are just mine. I love great conversations, especially ones that push hard on my views and cause me to consider something I have not before. I place a great deal of value on people rather than objects, action over words, and of love. I prefer to walk gently in the world, being careful to not trample the gardens of others, and really appreciate the diversity that makes us who we are.
