El apartamento de Ori esta muy bien situado, el barrio es tranquilo y seguro. Las camas son muy cómodas y el apartamento tiene todo lo que necesitas en general. Ori ha sido muy amable y comunicativo en todo momento. Muy recomendable
This apartment was the perfect hotel alternative. The location was very convenient and in a safe neighborhood. There was a grocery store and restaurants and transportation close by. The apartment itself was clean and functional with comfortable beds and a big stack of clean towels. We appreciated getting two sets of keys. Yes, it was noisy at night and there was a street light in front of my bedroom window, but it is mentioned in the description and my friend and I had earplugs and a sleeping mask. With that we slept well.
our second airbnb in NYC and the only thing I can say about it is GREAT! host is very friendly and quick to answer questions nice cozy apartment (the pictures do not do it justice) on a great location!
We didn't meet Ori personally, but the cleaning lady instead. She gave us a tour in the apartment. It's pretty small, but has everything you need. Two clean bedrooms with big beds and closets. A bathroom with good pressure shower. The living room/kitchen area was good for 2. I had good contact with Ori by Whatsapp. It can be noisy and the street lights shine through the curtains, but hey: it's Manhattan. I didn't have trouble with it. The neighborhood is very safe and residential. Subway is closeby.
Nice place, everthing was perfect
The apartament was quite cleaned and it corresponded to the description. Ori was always disponible at the telephone althought we didn't see him personally, we received the keys from a very polite woman.
In conclusion, thumbs up for this occasion.
The appartment was comfortable and cozy, not much modern but well located and with all the furnitures needed. We didn't meet Ori but a friend of him which left us the keys and gave us some explanations. We were very near to supermarkets, Starbucks, metro, etc. We hadn't been able to understand how the TV worked, but anyway we were often out so no worries. I would describe this experience as positive and I would surely come back in Ori's apartment next time in NYC.
Although I never met Ori, he was very welcoming and friendly. We kept in contact through Whatsapp, but he is open to other forms of communication media as well. We had some trouble getting into contact about my exact time of arrival, because I was without internet access for a while. However, eventually he called me to say not to worry, someone was at the apartment to welcome me (and my mother), and wishing us a great time.
The apartment is not large, but more than enough, because we spent little time there anyway. It is noisy with construction right outside of the window. This is because of a new metro line going to go on 2nd street so don't expect this to be over soon. We slept with earplugs. Because I live in Melbourne I am used to having a relatively light night. My mum, however, was a bit bothered by the light seeping in through the curtains.
The place was very clean (except for a forgotten pan in the oven - ah, it happens) and welcoming. Enough towels to choose from. Around the corner there is a very nice wine bar and restaurant. I did not feel unsafe at all. Very nice neighbourhood and quick to walk to the metro (5-10 mins). Line 6 got us to south and then on to west. Alternatively you can take a bus or taxi to go west. But East is well worth exploring, as well as Brooklyn (loved Williamsburg!).
We did nod meet Ori but one of his friend was here to give us the key of the flat. The flat has a good location2 blocks away from the metro. The flat is quite spacious with the 2 bedrooms and a main room with couch and small kitchen. It is a bit a noisy in the morning with works just under the windows. Generally, it was good. Thanks Ori
