Cara (dear) Anna was wonderful! Her communication before and during my stay was consistent and helpful. The apartment is accurate as listing is defined. Great building, safe neighborhood, and within historic center. She has a fantastic Lavazza caffe machine and provides an excellent breakfast! Her kitchen is well-equiped for cooking. The rest of the apartment is comfortable. Grazie Anna!!!
It is a very cozy and centrally located apartment. Anna is a great host and the kitchen was fully stocked with coffee capsules, biscuits and croissants. Very clean and quiet apartment.
Despite we arrive quite late in the night for a short stay, Anna was waiting for us, with a large smile !
She manage to have a car park place reserved for us, just near to the flat.
The flat was as expected, well decorated, very clean, all we need was there, even a very good italian cofee machine.
Thank you Anna, this was a perfect stay !
Anna has been very efficient, whilst she could not welcome me being travelling out of Ancona.
She perfectly organised my arrival and checking thanks to her sister's availability and kindness.
Everything has been perfect, address indications, assistance to find the place, parking permit 100 m from the apartment.
The apartment is very cosy and extremely clean. A tiny and nice cocoon in Ancona down town, perfect to rest and to work. The most beautiful historical buildings and places are within few minutes walks.
It is evident Anna's passion for beauty and wellness...
The apartment is as described. This apartment is apparently not someones' residence, but of the "exclusive for short term rental" variety, there is even a business license from the city on the wall. Size of the apartment is about 500 sq feet. The living room had more furniture than is really necessary, a bit on the cluttered rather than home-like side of the line.
The primary hassle of the unit is that there is little space to put baggage and the closets are filled with the necessary gear for operating a BnB - think extra sheets, pillows, towels, blankets and a folded up bed.
There is no clothes washer on site, the nearest laundry mat is about 1/2 mile away, although you can expect it to be busy as it may be filled with tourists, perhaps from the ferries.
The kitchen is quite serviceable. By European standards it is a normal sized kitchen, Americans may call it tiny. Don't plan on cooking extensive meals, but simple ones will be easy. Again most cupboards are filled with supplies required to operate a BnB.
The neighborhood is relatively quiet, you can expect to hear voices of people in the street until quite late, but there is little car noise. It is a 10 euro taxi ride from the main train station. To get the the city center a 3/4 mile walk is required. It is a very short walk to the ferries.
DSL and WiFi are on site. However in my experience it was almost too slow to useful for any task beyond simple email.
Building security is very good. The apartment door is the standard Italian issue - thick 200 lb with vault like bolts. A key can be left in the lock at night to make it impossible for anyone else with a key to open the door from the outside.
We had an amazing time in ancona!!! Anna is the most amazing host, she picked us up and dropped us off! She was such a kind person and her apartment was perfect for my mother and I. Really close to everything! Thank you so much :)
