We enjoyed our stay! It's great being so close to the town, enjoyed the nightlife.
Sandra greeted us at the door at around 10:30PM and gave us a brief tour. My fiance and I were on our way up to check out a couple of wedding venues and she made us feel extremely welcome. The room was well furnished, very comfortable bed, quality all the way around. In the morning, Sandra made us breakfast and sat to talk with us for over an hour about the wedding and potential venues. It was an absolute pleasure to stay with her!
Sandra did a wonderful job of making us feel right at home. She was very flexible with our ever changing arrival times and even let us stay an extra night last minute. She was very responsive and easy to contact. Her place was easy to find and right by Main St. walking distance to all the restaurants, shops, and a boardwalk along the harbor. Sandra's place in Rockland was the perfect midway point between Portland and Acadia Park. The entire place is clean as a whistle and the rooms have an inviting and comfortable atmosphere. It is exactly how you imagine an adorable coastal B&B in a small town should look like! Her breakfasts were unbelievably tasty. The first morning we had home-made blueberry pancakes, sausage, fruit, greek yogurt w/granola, tea, coffee and juice. The next morning we had scrambled eggs, toast w/home made jam, ham, greek yogurt w/ granola, fruit, tea, coffee & juice. Her two little dogs are the sweetest and so well behaved. We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with her at breakfast and learning more about Maine. She is a wealth of information and willing to share! I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Maine. Thank you Sandra for making our stay in Maine so pleasant!!
A lovely spot just next to the sea in eclectic Rockland. The room was very pretty, the bed was so cosy but the best parts of the stay were the fluffy dogs, yummy pancakes and talking to Sandy. She's a great host and made us feel right at home.
Had a great stay in Rockland - the place is so cozy and Sandi is really sweet. Had a great breakfast with her and two other guests in the morning - really good conversation and delicious food. Especially the blueberry scones Sandi made for us ;) Would def stay here again!
Henrietta was a lovely guest and added a great deal to the morning breakfast table conversation. She was considerate and dependable and communicated well with her arrangements with me. I would certainly have her back as a guest again.
Great place to stay. Beautiful house and room and Sandra was super nice and flexible. Just a couple of blocks from great shops and restaurants and a cute downtown. I would stay there again if I were to find myself in Rockland again.
We enjoyed our stay at Ripples Inn, Rockland ME. Sandra was a delightful host, she was very easy to communicate with.
there were 6 of us, so we stayed in the Zen room and the Cottage Suite.
Breakfast was delicious, locally made sausage and pancakes with fresh fruit.
The accommodations and the host were both absolutely delightful.
Sandra welcomed us upon arrival and gave us some good restaurant recommendations. Our room was very nice and comfortable. Both breakfasts that Sandra prepared were delicious. Rockland was a nice town with lots of good food.
Great location downtown. Quiet and cozy bed and breakfast. Sandi was very warm, sweet, and can cook a tasty breakfast.
