It can be called as Inn, constructed in a 16th centry old building which is amazing. Downstairs is an art gallery, maybe that's why the room is very artistic style. Location is good, in the middle of Loches. There is a old castle beside it. Claude is nice and talktive. Very nice stay.
We had a great stay in Loches> Claude was a very charming host. Breakfast was lovely and the B&B was beautiful and very charactaristic.
We had a great stay at Claude's place. Claude was very helpful, entertaining and his place is something else and very well located. Breakfast was very nice. We felt very welcome and had truly enjoyed our stay in this special building with Claude as a very special host. We'd definitely stay again at Claude's.
The house was amazing! Beautiful, spacious, full of character. And the location is great: within striking range of wonderful chateaux and wineries and in the midst of a network of great little villages. Claude was very welcoming and friendly, and had great recommendations for food and wine tasting in the region. This is really a great place to stay.
Claude is a very kind host and made us feel very welcome. We had awful weather, so we were happy to have a cozy house to come back to. I should also say, coming from someone who doesn't like dogs and has three small children, that his dogs are really non-threatening and gentle and actually add to the farm atmosphere!
We much enjoyed our stay in Loches. Claude went above and beyond: when we arrived, he walked with my husband to where we had left our car to show us where we could park near his place, and stopped in at a couple of restaurants on the way to make sure we had dinner reservations for that night. He was friendly and charming, and speaks English. The rooms are comfortable and full of character and we loved the location in the medieval area of town, where we could walk to restaurants and the chateau, and every walk was interesting and beautiful.
Claude was extremely charming, generous and welcoming. He made ensure we were comfortable and our two daughters became quite attached to him and his three lovely dogs. Our week in the Loire valley was unfortunately marred by bad weather, but Claude made sure we were comfortable and that there was firewood available.
He was by far the most generous host we have met on our travels.
Claude's place is really special. The ancient steps in his home really suit the mediaeval feeling of the whole town although they are a bit tricky to negotiate with heavy luggage. No worries though - Claude carried the heaviest bags upstairs for us.
The location is perfect - right in the middle of the town centre and very close to the royal city. We even managed to park directly behind the property free of charge, but I don't know if you can rely on finding a space there always.
Claude is helpful, amusing and entertaining and prepared a great breakfast with the best croissants we had in our stay in France. Definitely to be recommended!
