Alexandra personally met us at the station and took us to our apartment. We had not had that service before - it was much appreciated. The apartment was wonderfully located in Tours - near the river, great places to eat, the old town, the train station, the cathedral and gardens - all very interesting and charming. The apartment was a pleasure to be in, full of character, very old on the outside but beautifully set up within. Thanks Alexandra - it was a perfect place to spend the last couple of days of our holiday

Our stay in Tours was perfect! Since initial contact Alexandra was prestative and answered all our questions and her husband was waiting for us on time, when he explained all details of apartment and also show a city map with severas details and good information! Apartment is exactly as in pictures and its pretty cool! Location is very good! It was clean as expected! I recomend!
Extremely nice apartment in an excellent location. Just watch yourself on the stairs - they are STEEP! Otherwise this was one of our favorite locations in all of Loire Valley.
Highly recommend staying here.
Alexandra was there to meet us and was pleasant enough.
The front door from the street entrance we were told was tricky and this was a daily concern. However when we observed the postwoman getting into the door with her own key this was quick which leads me to understand that it just required a new key!!
I felt that after asking a couple of questions such as if there was a hairdryer( a basic requirement I thought and at every other apartment I have ever stayed in) or another full sized bath towel instead of a hand towel to use for showering we were an annoyance to her. The apartment had a distinct smell and was there every time we came in. There was minimal lighting which made it hard to find things and also made the apartment seem dreary. The bed was reasonably comfortable but again when I asked if there were any extra pillows I was seen as an annoyance.
A hairdryer was located the next day and a text which seemed most unfriendly was sent to my phone to tell me it was to be dropped of. We were having trouble with the wifi and I was hoping to get it sorted as a family member was very ill back in Australia. They did sort it without us which we were grateful for, but on our return to the apartment we could not get back inside. One of the other locks on the door had ben activated we tried for 15 minutes and then went back outside to the street to a café around the corner to try and contact the owner . After me trying a couple of times and then the owner of the café leaving voice messages, we were unsuccessful. The 2 lovely guys at the café went with my husband and after 20 plus minutes they were successful. I did not hear back from Alexandra for 3 days!.
I did not try to contact the owner again as I just wanted to finish our stay and move on.
Nice Little flat in an old house :-) 5 min away from centre. You can see all of Tours by food. We stay two days, one day is enough.
My host made me feel very welcome. She met us at the train station and walked us to our charming light and airy apartment. It is an old building and inside you can see the stone and heavy beams. The bathroom is roomy, the kitchen is functional, and the bed is comfortable! Alexandra told us of restaurants and sights to see. This was a delightful place. If you have a problem with stairs this place would be an added challenge as it is a narrow spiral staircase. The location is perfect and quiet, close to everything. Tours is a hub for seeing chateaux. I recommend AccoDisco tours with Pascal.
Alexandra was a wonderful host. She met us at the apartment, pointed out areas of interest and places to eat. She also left us a bottle of delicious wine and some home baked bread. The apartment was light and airy and in a great location. We had a lovely few days in Tours
The perfect apartment in the heart of the city! I stayed here for one month and had a wonderful stay. Alexandra, the owner, is a gracious host and is always available if you have any questions. The apartment is very charming and cozy with a lot of light. The apartment is also extremely clean and well equipped with everything that you could possibly need. There are cafes and shops right outside the building and the city has a great atmosphere. I truly enjoyed my time visiting Tours and could not have asked for a better place to stay. I highly recommend this apartment if you are looking for a place to stay in Tours!
merci Ana, ce commentaire me fait chaud au coeur ! :-)
