Friendly hosts, a comfortable room, convenient location right next to MIT and several places to eat, and a well-stocked shared kitchen. It was a great place to spend a month.
Housing was as described in the Airbnb add. Location was good for both Cambridge campus and Boston workers, because of proximity to MBTA stops and services around the area. Despite the inn was almost always complete with guests (mainly MIT scholars, students...), no annoyances to write about in this respect, always friendly and quiet atmosphere. However furniture and home clothing supplied were a little bit worn out, and cleaning items were scarce. Water, electricity, internet access and basic TV channels were all included which is a mayor thumbs-up. All together a very good housing option for both the Cambridge and Boston areas. Pricing was high but not different from similar options in Boston / Cambridge.
The room is very nice. It has its own private bathroom and air conditioning unit. The location is great for people need to have access to MIT during their stay. MIT is only a 10 minute walk away.
The Windsor Inn is a very nice place to stay. It is close to MIT and Central Square. The innkeepers are friendly and helpful. I recommend it to anyone needing a nice place to stay in Cambridge.
The Windsor Inn was a nice place for me to stay while attending a two week intensive course on the MIT campus. An easy walking distance to classrooms at Sloan and in the main engineering campus... and also to a good selection of grocery stores, an Olympic sized pool with long hours and a comfortable neighborhood bar. In short, it was very easy for me to adjust to a comfortable, temporary new life.
Things are pretty quiet at the Windsor Inn, I was able to study and turn in early, even on the weekends. And, access to a full kitchen allowed me to eat breakfast and dinner at home, and bring a packed lunch to school.
Sarah is very kind.
The place of the living is close to MIT and Central square. So, it is very useful.
