Staying with Claudia and Krishan was the best decision I made when moving to San Francisco.
I got a job offer out here and within 2 weeks, packed up and relocated 3,000 miles from home. As you may know, finding an apartment in San Francisco is like finding a needle in a haystack....it's nearly impossible. So I decided to buy myself some time and stay at an Aibnb until I could find an apartment.
Claudia and Krishan generously welcomed my extended stay (about 2 1/2 weeks). They were gracious hosts, providing me with everything I needed and making sure that I felt comfortable in my new City. It was my absolute pleasure to stay with them.
The apartment is beautiful and location is unbeatable. The living room window overlooks a large portion of the city and it's absolutely beautiful. The flat is spacious and extremely comfortable. The bedroom has a nice-sized closet space and plenty of extra room as well. If I was able to move 3 large suitcases into this room, i'm sure that any future guest will fit more than comfortably. The flat is also about 5 minutes from the nearest Bart Station (24th and mission), near great restaurants, and spectacular views.
There is no better option, stay with Claudia and Krishan! You will enjoy San Francisco, reside in one of the nicest spots in the city, and live with 2 of the best people i've met.
We had a fantastic time, filled with superlatives! Claudia and Krishan made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The neighborhood and apartment are gorgeous, indeed, and the location is wonderful. I only wish we could have stayed longer!
Best place I've stayed in SF. Krishan and Claudia are awesome hosts - super friendly and great guys and they have a really great apartment. Definitely going to be back in touch next time I stay in SF.
Great location, good space, and friendly hosts. Krishan was flexible with our schedule and kept good communication. the place itself has plenty of charm, with good views, fireplace, and well-stocked kitchen. would recommend!

We stayed at Krishan's place for 4 nights at the end of August to attend a friend's wedding. It's a small studio but upon entering we could see that Krishan had taken great care in preparing his place for our stay. Everything was very neat and tidy and he had left a welcome note for us as well! He was easy to communicate with throughout the whole process, from pre-booking to end and made himself easily available for any questions. His place his centrally located in the mission and we could walk just about anywhere in 15 minutes. The bed was clean and comfortable and there was a couch, which we didn't really use considering we were out and about for most of our stay in SF. Krishan has many interesting touches around the apartment, including multiple plants and artwork andit felt very homey, not to mention more affordable than many bed and breakfasts and hotels in the area. Definitely try to stay here on your next visit to SF!
My friend and I stayed at Krishan's place from June 8 - June 11, and it was a really pleasant experience! We drove up from LA, and street parking was only by the hour, but the Mission Bartlett garage on 21st and Lexington is a 5 min walk away (0.2 miles). I just parked there and explored the city on foot/bus/train the whole time we were there.
The studio itself is lovely - you can really see the amount of pride Krishan has in his apartment, with all the personal touches and artwork on his walls. We spent a good amount of time just admiring the little details; it's clear that he's touched a lot of lives. The bed is a very comfortable queen, and there is a small couch right next to the bed for late night chats or coffee sessions. We didn't end up staying in the apartment much as we were out and about most of the time, but it was a great place to come back to at the end of the day.
In terms of exploring the city; this is really an unbeatable location. The Mission is very vibrant and full of activity. One of my favourite brunch places from my college days, Foreign Cinema, is also literally right around the corner. We staggered out of independent bookstores with our hands full, ate at cute restaurants, went to little boutiques with some great shopping to be done, and marveled at the incredible Mission murals, all purely by walking. To get anywhere further in town, the BART station is just 2 blocks away and very convenient.
As a host, Krishan was very responsive and it was always very easy to get a hold of him and ask any questions I had about the upcoming trip. All in all, a great experience!
Kirshan's studio was the perfect place for me and a girlfriend to stay while exploring San Francisco. The studio is on the smaller side, but one doesn't need much more space as it is cozy and so very peaceful!
Krishan was timely with all correspondence previous to my booking and answered all of my questions with care. I even had the privilege of meeting Kirshan before my stay in his studio and can say that in person, as well as through email/sms, he is very friendly and laid back.
The bed is comfortable, the shower head is amazing, the balcony is great, as was the capability to plug into his speakers with our ipods. The apartment was warm, had great natural lighting, and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. I love the Mission district so the location was very nice. We walked most places or took the BART when necessary (sometimes buses as well).
We could not pick up a wifi signal in the house, which was a bit of a hassle. We found ourselves in cafes to use the wifi multiple times a day. I regret that we are so dependent on internet, but without it, we couldn't look up even the simplest things like how to get somewhere via public transportation, etc. If you have a US smart phone, then this minor detail will not matter. If you do not have a smart phone, be prepared to plan ahead and frequent the many good cafes in the area. The absence of internet was not enough to spoil the stay, but just inconvenient.
All in all, a lovely place and an excellent experience for my first time using AirBnB. I highly recommend Krishan's studio! I wish I lived there myself :)
