Hi!I am renting from 2005, open to answer your question.Speaking czech, english, croatian, serbian, slovakian, punjabi, hindi)
Mann is a very nice person to work with. The apartment is very small and basic. It was not very clean and the bed was very uncomfortable. We ended up sleeping on the pull out chairs. We told Mann about the bed and she said she would take care of it. The stairway up is very long. Actually 7 storys so you better be ready for a long climb. It is about 10 minutes to the subway station. On the same block as the apartment is a bakery and a small market which was very nice. The price is right but it is not very comfortable.
We had a really great stay at Mann's apartment. She provided us with space to store several bikes, as well. The location is perfect- just far enough away from the madness of the city center, but still nearby everything. As another reviewer said, the nearby restaurants and pubs were really fun too-- I especially recommend the cafe next door.
Accepted our request for accommodation.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we were not able to make it in time.
Made contact via the only means possible and as soon as we were able to.
Apologies extended for the late communication and no-show.
Mann was paid for the no-show.
Wrote a less than average review.
I enjoyed the stay at Irena's house. The apartment was confortable and the area is just great, real Prague, you will not be surrounded by lots of tourists with their cameras but by local people, what is by far more interesting from my point of view. Lots of original Praguese breweries and restaurants nearby and a grocery store in the same building. Very easy and fast to get to the metro station and to the center.
