Helloha! I live for making art, travel & outdoor adventure, learning new things, and inspiring others to do the same. I especially enjoy long weekend getaways; particularly when they involve pursuits such as back-packing, skiing, surfing, and cycling. My best friend (i.e. furry side-kick) is a mellow husky-mix. We tend to haunt the nearby mountains, islands, and coasts as much as possible. However there are times when I prefer to stay at home here in Ballard (as it is the best hood in Seattle). I have a deep affinity for my community and feel I am a part of it. After over ten years of living in Seattle, I feel I know it fairly well; though I often find to my delight that there are new gems and hidden treasures to be discovered within walking distance. I hope I can share my place with some good folks interested staying for a fun Seattle (website hidden)-wise I independently own and operate two small businesses: a garden design + build firm and I am a fitness trainer.
I dig the everyday comforts of good coffee, tasty brew, playing with dogs, live music, 'arting', design, vintage clothing, mid-cent decor, bikes, foreign films, reading fiction, old maps, dark chocolate, and fresh seafood.
I would be delighted to host and in some cases entertain for an evening or a coffee (or on-line/phone chat) then leave you with good maps, some suggestions, transportation guidelines and voila...my world is your oyster!
