I am a French-Canadian program manager living in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I worked for radio and tv at Radio-Canada (the Canadian PBS) for 20 years. Always looking for a new challenge, I quit my job three years ago and did a Master's degree in Medieval History. I am now completing a PhD, specializing in paleography and Witchcraft trials. My wife is a radio producer, and we have 3 grown kids. We have an old house in a ridiculously small village in Western France, where we spend the summer. I am a voracious fan of cinema (Cohen Brothers, Wes Anderson, Soderbergh) and literature, and I can't live without old books. I speak English, French, Spanish and I desperately try to get better at reading Latin. I love traveling, photography and (unfortunately for my waist) good food and wine. Love Paris, New York and London - but also Machu Picchu (Peru) and Petra (Jordan). Eclectic taste in Music (Bon Iver, Band of Horses, Philip Glass, Madeleine Peyroux, Bach, Max Richter). When I travel, I love using airbnb. I am a quiet guest (my nose always in a book) and rarely home (too many pictures to take).
