My host has been responsive apart from a slight delay on the first night. The appartment looked exactly as in the pictutures. The neighborhood was fine though a bit off the center of town (takes around 25 minutes drive to Union square by bus) but the price was accordingly resonable.

Great neighborhood. Easy walk to so many things...restaurants and attractions. House is extremely comfy and well equipped. Construction on house next door is scheduled through May. Workers start banging and sawing at 7:30am consistently--would be an issue for those who enjoy sleeping in. Evenings are quiet. Would not hesitate to book this place again. Thanks Courtney and Ryan!
Very cozy and good apartment. Warm, interesting furniture, big and comfortable bedroom. Recommend for stay!
Thanks so much for the stay! The apartment is beautiful, though the artistic choices are a bit quirky. Very convenient for public transportation, lots of great restaurants just up the street on Clement. Would have loved it if there were a microwave oven, and the thermostat's a bit temperamental -- but the queen bed is very comfortable and cozy, shower water pressure's great, the kitchen's got everything else you'd need, and the apartment starts feeling like home really fast.
The best nearby gym for morning workouts is likely Koret (USF), just a couple blocks' stroll into Lone Mountain. 15 visits for $81, and it's got all the free weights & machines, cardio equipment, punching bags and swimming lanes you'd ever need.
Thanks again, Ryan and Courtney!
I felt at home in this cosy apartment with its warm burnt orange walls and bookshelves with tantalizing reads. The apartment, on a quiet street is a haven from the bustling street life just round the corner, where on Clement street you'll find bustling Chinese grocery stores and bohemian cafés - the Blue Danube my favorite! A few blocks down I discovered the Green Apple book store - a must browse. The de Young Gallery is a 20 minute walk away where I couldn't believe my luck to have caught the David Hockney exhibition (on show till 20 Jan). The short ride on the Muni to down town Francisco from Geary street makes it the perfect location.
Professional, relaxed and creative - how deeply satisfying - thank you we loved our stay.
My in-laws had a great stay at Ryan and Courtney's apartment. I live in the neighborhood, so I'm biased, but... The location is excellent for anyone looking for a different San Francisco experience. Clement Street (and nearby) has great restaurants, cafés, boutiques, and the best bookstore in California, Green Apple Books! Several buses will quickly take you to golden gate park, land's end, pacific heights, or downtown. The apartment itself has a lot of character and is very spacious and comfortable. Ryan and Courtney gave clear instructions for check in/out and were easy to communicate with. All around a wonderful experience.
We had a great stay at Ryan and Courtney's place. The apartment was nice and spacious and we really enjoyed exploring the surrounding neighbourhood. Courtney was extremely helpful and quickly responded to all of our questions. We would definitely recommend staying here when visiting San Francisco.
Although I was not able to meet Ryan, Courtney and Rudd it was a pleasure having them saty at our cottage and would highly recommend them! We would be happy to have them stay again.
Ryan and Courtney were lovely and conscientious. Their dog, Bueller, was quiet, sweet and clean. Highly recommended!
Ryan and Courtney were a pleasure to meet. They were appreciative and easy, in other words>excellent guests. Ryans first time to the Big Island while on a tour to their frequented Kauai~ where heavy weather prevented bliss, re-routed them to the Kona coast. The sun did shine for them here! Courtney's past experience led her to volunteer for conservation trails and Koa reforestation up Mauka. Welcome guests.
All around good experience with Ryan, we never met in person but his communication before and during his stay was timely and professional. they stayed over new years eve and left the place as they found it. recommended guests for sure.
Ryan and Courtney are amazing friends and make great hosts. They are considerate and accommodating. Their space is perfect for a San Francisco getaway, a prime location to explore the city during the day and rejuvenate in their cozy apartment at night. I have known Courtney for over 10 years and Ryan for the last 3. They know a lot about SF and can point you to the best restaurants and sights to explore.
I would recommend Ryan and Courtney's space to anyone who wants to feel the comfort of a home, but still be immersed in a cosmopolitan city.
