First and foremost, I am Vietnamese- American. I am originally from Northern California, was a pre-med major at UC Santa Cruz, but then I saw the light and I decided to venture to the Caribbean to study veterinary medicine with my awesome best friend/roommate/fiance. Then we moved back to the States to Illinois to finish out our final year of clinics at the University of Illinois.
When I grow up, I want to be either a small animal private practitioner, or a public health vet.
My favorite food is cheese. I have a dog named Enzo. I like traveling, but I hate flying. I don't mind driving with my fiance. He is a good driver and likes to skateboard. We are both nerds and enjoy quiet nights at home, craft beer and watching movies.
I lived on a Caribbean island for 2.33 years. I like hiking, snorkeling and lobster diving. My professional interests include dentistry, internal medicine and immunology. I am re-learning how to speak French and Spanish (I was pretty good at both of them in different times of my life), and speak fluent Vietnamese and Medical-ese.
I like to eat.
