J'aurais voulu rester plus longtemps ici...
Excellente communication avec l'hôte! Bon accueil, sérieux, belle maison pour un bel endroit bien situé. J'ai été accueilli comme je l'imaginais.
I had a wonderful quick stay with Isabelle. She was incredibly gracious and generous. The room was very comfortable and her three cats were super cute and friendly. Wonderful house.
J'ai eu un bref séjour merveilleux chez Isabelle, qui est très généreuse et chaleureuse. La chambre était très confortable et ses trois chats étaient super mignon et gentils. Magnifique maison!
When i first got in Isabelle's house i smiled a lot! The energy of that place is so nice with lots of Buddhas, flowers, paints and beauty. When i met Isabelle i became very happy too because of her sweet way of be, and talk and help. I loved the house, the place, Aix, Luberon , Isabelle and all the nice cats! Thank you Isabelle for sharing your house with me! I wish you love always!
Excellent! Isabelle is an amazing host and the house couldn't be more cozy. In fact, I even extended my stay by quite a bit. :) You have access to the kitchen, the garden/pool is fairy-tale perfect, and the house/rooms are always well kept and clean. Isabelle has been generous enough to do laundry on a weekly basis as well.
The bus (#10) is right out the front door and takes you to the center of downtown, or ride further on to the Fac de lettres/Fac de droit at Àix*Marseille University, where I've been studying this semester (it's a 10 minute walk from Arrêt Poudrière).
I also walk downtown and back quite often. As others have mentioned, it's easier walking downtown (15-20 minutes) than back because of the steep incline, but the latter has kept me in good form! (The bus does not run on Sundays, by the way).
I cannot emphasize enough how quaint and comfortable my stay here has been. I get up in the morning and have my coffee/breakfast in the garden before school (there is always a kitty or two to greet you!) I've done my homework, and there are few better ways to stay in Aix, especially for the price. I'm extremely thankful to have found Isabelle's home.
Had a great experience at Isabelle's place. The house and specially the room was not only beautifully decorated but was spotless and Isabelle was extremely friendly and helpful. She gave me a city map and even offered me a ride to the city centre. Location is great, about 20 min walk down to Cour Mirabeau but only downside is the bus service that only serves the area until 9 pm. I really enjoyed my experience and highly recommend it.
I very much enjoyed my stay. The house has a wonderfuly calm atmosphere and Alizée and Isabelle are very hospitable!
Isabelle was very accommodating as I arrived later than expected. I was shown my room and the rest of the house and all the areas I could use. Communication was prompt and her English was reasonably good which made things much easier for me. This was a good place to stay.
This is a lovely house with a really good ambience.
Isabelle rents out three other rooms in her house so there are guests around.
The room from AirBnB is spacious, well kept and has blackout shutters.
The area is very quiet so a good nights sleep is almost guaranteed.
Note - Shared bathroom and toilet.
Kitchen is small but guests are allowed to self cater.
Tea/Coffee/Yoghurts and fruit are provided free of charge.
There is a gorgeous back yard with small swimming pool and loungers.. a real provence feel.
I had been rushing around Europe, trying to see everything, and I was exhausted. Thankfully I found this house. The hosts were so accommodating and kind. The house was clean and beautiful. I felt like a guest. Thank you!
