I'm Ben, I'm a lawyer, but I promise I'm kind and considerate in spite of it. I like hiking, biking, travel, and photography. I promise to be very respectful of your home and space, and look forward to meeting new people on the road.
A full week after we left the home and without contacting me first, the owner sent a demand through AirBnB that he wanted an additional $500 for "damages" to his home, and left a nasty and false review on my account. Me and my party (who all consisted of doctors and lawyers with young families, not exactly your hard-partying types) left his home in pristine condition: we thoroughly cleaned his home before we left and left it as we found it. However, he accused us of damaging his coffee machine (which we never used), damaging his alarm system (which we never touched), and leaving dishes and garbage out (which we cleaned up completely after each use and before leaving the home). He also is asking us to pay for a new oven door, because apparently we dirtied it in a manner that rendered it beyond repair (which is simply ridiculous). I am working with AirBnB to resolve his false claims.
