I am a chef, but I don`t work at the moment, but still making delicious Dalmatian meals for my family and friends. Love to host and help my guests enjoy our lovely island as much as possible.

Nikica was absolutely lovely! We arrived late to Korcula, because the ferry from Split was very delayed. I called her to say we had arrived and she still jumped in her car to come and collect us. Then we mentioned to her we were hungry and whether there were still any shops open, so she drove us around to find a shop that was still open. Unfortunately by then it was just after 10pm so everything was closed, but she didn't give up, so she went to one of her friends and got us some bread, cheese, salami and beer!
Our stay in Korcula was very laidback and lovely. From the apartment, it was a nice scenic walk (about 20-30mins. depending on the heat) into Korcula old town, which we loved. You can also take a taxi boat from the nearby hotel/camp site, they run relatively frequently from there into town and back (until about midnight as I remember).
The apartment was well equipped and huge! With air condition and a large terrace where we had our meals. The terrace can be noisy due to proximity to the road, but we didn’t find it a big issue.
Nikica responded very quickly to all our messages and calls and was always there to help us.
We would like to thank Nikica for the amazingly warm welcome, all her help and kindness :)
Nikica's apartment was absolutely wonderful. I was pleased from the very beginning when Nikica's neighbor came to pick us up from the town center to drive us to the apartment. The room itself was very clean, quiet, cozy, and well-equipped with a refrigerator, kettle, and other small kitchen necessities. There was also a nice terrace outside of the room. The apartment seemed a bit far from the town at first but it was a walkable distance and the peacefulness of the neighborhood more than made up for the walk. I would highly recommend this room to anyone visiting Korcula.
Notre hôtesse nous a très bien accueillie. la chambre était très confortable
This apartment was awesome. Very homey. Minutes from grocery store, beaches, a water taxi to old town for 10 kuna. Or a 25 minute walk to the old town which is very charming. They are super responsive should you need anything. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Nikica's room is lovely. Very clean and newly renovated. Able to cook small meal on the gas bottle stove. Nikica was kind enough to collect us from the port which is about 20-30min walk from the room. Bus stop and supermarket within 100 meters.
Nikica was a lovely host..She picked us up from the bus stop which we really appreciated. Nikica was very warm and we enjoyed talking to her and learning about korcula and the culture of living on the island.
The apartment was spacious and clean. It had two bedrooms and 4 people could stay there easily. The main bedroom had a terrace which was nice to sit out and have breakfast.
Location wise the apartment is just at the ferry terminal where the boat from Orebi arrives - this is perfect if you are taking the bus from dubrovnik. There is a large supermarket close by and a lovely fruit and veg stall just outside the apartment. It is 10mins walk to the beach and about 25mins walk to korcula town by the seafront.
We had a lovely stay Nikica..thank you
Thank You, Simon!
