I'm a graphic design student, a waitress and an illustrator.
My husband and I had a great stay at Anne's apartment! It is the perfect size for two people. Nicely decorated and has everything you would need (including a shovel, which we put to good use). We never met Anne, but everything went smoothly regardless. It was probably due to the snow, but the location felt a bit out of the way, at least compared to other places I've stayed in Montreal. I'm sure it feels more convenient in the warmer weather when you can walk through La Fontaine. The 24 bus is a few steps away and the metro is about a 15+ walk. There is a pharmacy nearby and a few great restaurants.
My only complaint is that the apartment smells a bit like smoke. This didn't bother my husband at all, but unfortunately I'm very sensitive to smells. I got used to it after a day though (a candle helped).
My stay in Anne's apartment went very well. Her place is conveniently located and easy to get to. The apartment was cozy and homely, just like in the photos. And Anne is a very friendly and accommodating host. Would definitely stay there again.
Though I didn't get to meet Anne, I enjoyed my stay in her apartment. It's located in a quiet residential area, but close to a bus stop, it was reasonably clean when I checked in (and out, I hope ;-), and it has lots of charme and individuality.
Nice little apartment besides the Parc Fontaine. Very cozy with a cool 1950s/60s vibe. Great amenities. Anne was very welcoming.
Everything worked out just perfect. The communication was easy, everything was ready for us and the location was excellent.
THANKS for the hospitality.
Anne's apartment was a perfect perch for our visit to Montreal. It was spacious, comfortable, full of creative quirks and fun things to look at, and located right next to the beautiful Parc la Fontaine. There was also plenty of space to stretch out an make if feel like a home away from home. It was also in walking or biking distance from everywhere we wanted to be. (Bike lovers, be sure to check out Bixi!) The back patio was another great perk.
We would stay here again and again.
My husband and I went to Montreal for a weekend for the first time. Everything was great. The location of the apartment is very convenient. You can walk to the park (about 3 minutes walk) and rent a bike, or you can even walk to old town (about 15-20 minutes walk). The decor of the apartment is very cool and artsy. I would give it 5 stars, however I have to point out that the apartment was not perfectly clean. Some dusting and cleaning would not hurt. On the other hand, check out time is negotiable with the host and you can bring your pet at no cost which is very convenient. Anne was very helpful and accommodating. Again, I would have given it 5 stars if it was a bit cleaner there.
Very nice place! Easy to find and very convenient.
We were really glad to have you in Berlin !!
Best wishes from Berlin
It was a pleasure dealing with Anne from beginning to end. She was friendly and direct. This made making arrangements easy. When bad weather delayed her arrival, she was right-there with frequent updates.
She and her travel partner were both warm and gracious guests. I would gladly host them again.
