I could not live without my bicycle!
I make my living as a professional writer, and am fascinated by people and their stories.
I enjoy reading too. I really liked Emotional Design by Norman. I was inspired by Thea Cooper's Breakthrough and enchanted by Lisa See's Snow Flower and the Secret Fan. I tend to pick at Osho's Book of Understanding, a page or two at a time.
I am not a fan of TV in my home, but I'll tune into an occasional sporting event, comedy, or foreign film on my laptop. My musical tastes lean towards alternative, world, and maybe a bit of folk. I enjoy a wide range of live music in intimate settings, and try to get out at least once a week on my own or with friends. I usually run into someone I know. My food preferences lean vegetarian, Asian, and Italian.
I just finished reading Extreme Simplicity by Christopher and Dolores Lynn Nyerges; I am fascinated with the concepts of urban homesteading and craft activism. I've just started into What's Mine Is Yours by Rachel Botsman and Roo Rogers. When I travel, it's always very light.
