I live a very full life!
Valerie and Pablo were very welcome host. The house is located in the nature, and they are respecting the beautiful surrounding. They were very good cooks as well.
Valerie and Pablo were very accommodating and warm upon our arrival. We reached without a problem due to the directions they provided. Although we arrived later than expected and late at night, both were awake and greeted us into their home. The house has a lot of interesting components to it that contribute to it's self-reliant and sustainable description. My friend and I absolutely loved the house and both of the hosts and would come back again.
Response from Valerie:
Ah those spiders... over the years, I've come to love them well.
I found the host and hostess very pleasant and enjoyed thoroughly the location, the ambiance, and the company. I also enjoyed interacting with the animals and the surrounding woods. The place was just what I was looking for, secluded with wonderful places to hike, swim and relax. My partner and I shared a dinner with Valerie and Pablo which was very homey enjoyable. I would not hesitate to recommend this to my friends.
So simple...so easy....a few correspondents with Valerie and Pablo..and our last minute plans were arranged!!..they guided us in on late night of travel after work...we were welcomed to a charming..clean...wonderful space that we quickly adapted to for the weekend.....it was too easy!!...will do this again....

Valerie and Pablo were hospitable and wonderful hosts. Their home was peaceful and in a beautiful setting. Although we only stayed there a short time our interactions with this host were nothing but positive.
Valerie and Pablo were wonderful people and gracious, excellent hosts. Their directions to get to the house were spot on. The GPS took us the wrong way and we only found their home using their directions. The house and our room were very clean and comfortable. I cannot remember the last time I slept so well... It was probably the most relaxing weekend I've had in a while. My husband and I stayed at their place for just two days and they made us feel completely at home. They are such warm people and so much fun to just talk with. They cooked us fantastic breakfasts and dinner. My husband said he hasn't had omelettes like Pablo's ever and the simple fish dinner he cooked us was amazing! Their dog Andre is the sweetest dog I've met too. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer!
Beautiful and hospitable! We had a restful stay and received above-and-beyond assistance with last-minute items. Loved the out-of-the-way location, made easy to find by perfect directions!
We got in much later than expected, but received a warm welcome from Pablo and Andre nonetheless. The house is both beautiful and homey, and stands as an excellent testament to the efficacy of alternative energy. We spent a quiet and restful night and woke up to awesome waffles in the morning! Valerie and Pablo were unflaggingly kind, flexible and generous, and we all found a lot to talk about. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and hope to be back someday!
We had a great experience. It was our first time to that area in New Hampshire and we were up there for the Northeastern 4x4 off roading event the following day. They greeted us at the door and were so hospitable. We all played dominoes once the sun went down and ended our trip with great breakfast as well from scratch which was a great way to start our day.
Valerie and Pablo were wonderful hosts. From the moment we arrived, we were not only greeted by Valerie in the garden, but by her dog, outdoor cat (who came to inspect our car the moment we got out), and resident turkey. There are some great stories tied to this house, and we really enjoyed our stay. We hope to come by again in the future!
I have known Valerie for over ten years and my life is better for it. She is one of the hardest working, yet caring and thoughtful people you could hope to find-- full of mirth and music. Her home is a charming retreat in a beloved and respected forest.
