I am a happy, peaceful, playful, dancing snorkeling person. I speak a little bit of Spanish and Hawaiian but mostly communicate in English.
I am retired after 30+ years working as a librarian at the University of Hawai'i at Månoa. I love to answer questions, give advise on what to see and do here in Hawai'i and I am good with technology. I have a great collection of guide books on Hawaii, and fish identifying materials. The public library is very close and you can get a non-resident cards. for a minimal cost so you can read books when you have finished all mine.
I spend my early mornings, walking my dogs and snorkeling Hanauma Bay with some really amazing friends, Who i'd be happy to introduce you to.
I love having guests come and stay and have hosted friends, family and friends of friends, exchange students and others for 15+ years. Now I am happy to have friends I have never met come and share my lovely home.
My home is totally wheelchair accessible including a lift into pool, because I have family members in chairs so if you have some movement limitations, I can help you figure out how to make the best of your vacation, or work time here in Hawaii.
There is live music to hear in the local pub, and many fun places to go dancing it you love the night life, happy to help you with this too. Since I love to get up early and stay up late, but this does mean now I tend to nap in the middle of the day.
I love to travel all over the world, the last couple of years, I have started taking long cruises and that is really fun. I enjoy traveling here is Hawaii, and a staycation is one of my favorites.
“You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching,
Love like you'll never be hurt,
Sing like there's nobody listening,
And live like it's heaven on earth.”
