From New Zealand but lived in Scotland for a very long time until recently: have just moved to Australia! - travel alot with work and to see family. Prefer the personal touch when finding a place to stay, rather than the anonymity of a fancy hotel!

The cottage was perfectly and beautifully placed near enough for day trips to edinburgh and pitlochry and of course glasgow itself. It was clean and warm and felt very homely. Our host was very attentive although we didn't manage to meet, he made sure we had everything we needed.
Sunil was very welcoming and attentive during our stay. The country setting was beautiful, though a bit tricky to find at first. If you're not Scottish the lock might prove a puzzle for you: you have to lift the handle whilst turning the key to get it to lock. The cottage is spacious and the kitchen equipped. The presence of a landline enabled my parents and I to visit an ancestors home that we would have other wise missed. I recommend Sunil as a host!
Very very hospitable host. Friendly. Prompt in communication. The cottage is nice country cottage. Great views. Slept like a log.
Lovely setting and beautiful views at this country cottage, large kitchen fully equipped, nice sitting area in back garden, washer/dryer and clothesline made for ease in leaving with clean clothing. Sunil is a charming host, even shaped our towels into swans on our bed and is a great communicator. He gave great advise as to good places to eat and things to do in the area. There was an issue with mold in the bathroom ceiling, we advised the host as my husband had allergic reactions to it and I smelled it constantly. A resident slug in the sitting room left a nightly trail we had to clean but never made himself visible otherwise. I have heard from other British friends that these nightly visitors are not uncommon and are hard to catch. Nothing you can't get past, a very nice cottage to stay in especially if the mold problem is addressed.
Sunil was a very good host, making sure we had everything we needed.the house Is in ideal place ,in the countryside but only two miles from a fairly large (website hidden) was easy to get to Glasgow ,20 minutes and about 30 minutes from the airport. We could use the facilities as we wished. We wouldn'tind returning on a future date.
Sunil Is a superb host,he was very kind and helpful ,and we koved his place ,we even had two BBQ!!!We were twice with him, thank you Sunil!
Lovely setting, bohemian decor, great value for money. The cottage is surrounded by farms, including a pasture of Highland Coos (big harry read Scottish cows with horns like Texas Long Horns)! Just down the road from some nice walks and the village of Milngavie and just 15-20 mins from Glasgow city center. It is definitely a country cottage which means you will have a few insect visitors, but this is to be expected and not overwhelming. A great close to the city get away!
We loved this location! It was so peaceful and the beauty of the countryside was inspiring. It wasn't too far from the grocery store or the city either. The home was perfect for us and the beds were really comfortable. Sunil was so great and helped us with so much. One of the nicest people we have stayed with so far. If you want a comfortable and relaxing place to stay this is a great option. We would go back in a heart beat.
Hi! Sunil is a really great host, and a charming person , he and Susan - his wife- were extraordinary hosts.
The cottage is very well situated, not far from the town , we'll absolutely recommend to people traveling by car, Sunil has also a parking place in his yard. Great place, cozy, peaceful, very clean and elegant. Great experience. When I'll get back in Glasgow, that's the way to stay.

These guys are great! Friendly, considerate and curious, they are everything a host could ask for in a guest.
Sunil was amazing! It's difficult to capture in words how much fun it was to have him around. So, I'll stick to the facts. He made us chai every morning with fresh ginger and a bunch of spices. And when he inquired about extending his reservation, I didn't even charge him for the extra night because he's now a friend of the household and always welcome here. Also, his experience as an AirBnB host means that he understands how it all works.
Sunhil is a real cool guy, that was very nice to meet him, and he got a secret : the best chaï tea. See u!
Sunil and his girlfriend have been very nice guests: quiet, clean and curious about Italy. Sunil introduced us to chai tea preparing it with care and passion... chai tea is very good ( now I'm addicted to it!) for us a very good experience I surely recommand you this guests... see you soon in Scotland!!! ;)
Great guests! Highly recommended! We would love to see them again!
Thanks, hope to see you again
Sunil, it was lovely hosting you & I'm sorry there was no time to get to know you better. Welcome back, any time! Wishing you a great end of the year & all the finest, Aida
Sunil and Nikos were ideal guests. They were very friendly and we had an interesting conversation about fish farming in Cafe Truva across from the flat! I can thoroughly recommend them as guests and hope we may meet again!
