I love travelling.
between mexico, syria, austria and great britain I couldn't possibly choose my favorite.
but the best part of travelling I can have at home, too: meeting new people!
looking forward to meeting you! *m*
Miriam's and her place were both charming. She gave us a list of things to do - and we did nearly every one of them. (Start with the Nepalese restaurant.) Her place is convenient and very accommodating for a single person or a couple.
Miriam's place is roomy, comfortable and in a great location. And Miriam is a beautiful person, very warm and friendly, with a great sense of humour. She is also extremely considerate and welcoming. So glad we had the chance for a nice long chat - it was a joy!
We enjoyed our stay in Miriam's studio with kitchen. It was a comfortable size, and it was great having microwave, burners, an oven to bake and a washing machine. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking and serving.
It is within walking distance of the old city, the river, and grocery stores. The elevator was convenient, too. Miriam was a great hostess and gave suggestions for sites to see. Hall in Tirol is interesting to visit on your way into or out of Innsbruck.
If you bring a car, it will probably be necessary to pay about €1 an hour for short-term parking on the street (9:00 and 19:00) in 3 hour increments, except on weekends. But it is easy to find a closeby parking spot most any time of day. There is also parking garage on Zeugstrasse, the cross street, but it is probably more expensive.
Downtown garages: You might have to wait to enter the garage where the tickets are dispensed until another car leaves--this was a new one for us, (we didn't know why the arm wouldn't raise) and signs outside indicated there were spaces available.
Miriam was an excellent host! She provided us with a map and great advise for our stay. She had even procured brochures for some of the local attractions, and even provided us with a welcome gift!\
The flat was perfect, very light and beautiful. It was withing walking distance to everything we needed, as well as public transportation if we didn't want to walk!
We couldn't have imagined staying with a better host!
Miriam was very well organised and her planning and thoughfulness maximised our time in Innsbruck.
Miriam's place is fantastic, its clean, roomy, everything you need is provided for, it is in a great location, quiet, close to supermarket and train station and only a short distance from the old town.
Thank you Miriam for making us welcome and our Christmas holiday in Innsbruck one we will always remember.

Miri is a close friend of mine - she is super intelligent, tough, interesting, creative and always fun to hang out with. I love her appartment, it's cozy and stylish at the same time. The location is great too, because the city center, bars and clubs are so very close.
