Kim's flat was very nice, with good amenities and a homey feel. Kim had finished cleaning a little bit before we arrived (a bit early than expected) and we were thankful for Kim to accommodate us arriving earlier than what is standard check-in time. Kim was very nice and clearly set all expectations either in the AirBnB website or on post-it notes in key locations in the flat. The kitchen was more than adequate for our needs. The water was always hot when it had to be (showers), which is not a trivial thing in certain areas in the UK.
I certainly recommend it for up to 3 individuals or 2 couples (4 people total).
The only item I can say that might be negative is that I somehow missed that the flat is really two bedrooms, where a third individual would need to sleep on the couch in the living area (which is what happened with me and my two buddies who stayed there). I consider this fairly minor as it doesn't greatly detract from the experience and I am sure it was my mistake from when I first discovered the listing in AirBnB. The flat is perfect for a family where the parents and two children each share a room.
Lovely flat in amazing location next to the park. Excellent host and simple key collection. great value.
Kim's place was wonderful! Large, bright and clean. We were close to anywhere we needed to go and had everything we needed for our stay in Glasgow! Thank you for everything!
This was a lovely flat, very spacious and with everything we needed. Plenty of room for family of 4. It was bright and sunny! Access was easy. The flat is close to tube station and very easy to get to Glasgow attractions. There was a great cafe/deli close by (best coffee we had had for a while).
Thanks Kim, we really enjoyed our stay in Glasgow.
Kim is very nice host. Whatever before the trip or during our stay in her apartment, she gave me rapid reply. And the apartment is warm comfy and convenient. Thank u Kim.
Renting from Kim was fantastic! She was very good at replying to emails pre-booking as well as after. The key hand over was very convenient and even though she wasn't in town, a friend had prepared the flat for us. All the essentials were in the flat (tea, coffee, milk, butter, bread, etc) and we had a lovely time! The flat itself is spacious and a real family home. We couldn't have had a better place to stay, thank you Kim!
Great place to stay. Really feels like living in Glasgow and the location is very central to the city center and west end. Host was easy to communicate with and provided everything we may have needed. Recommended for anyone looking for an affordable place to stay in Glasgow.
We had such a lovely time at Kim's flat - it's cheerful and homely, and extremely comfortable at a great price. Kim was a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome - she even left some muffins for us for breakfast... We look forward to repeating the visit next time we venture up to Glasgow. A++, will stay again!
The house was wonderfull, it felt like home. It is really close to the subway and not to far from the center, besides it is a lovely area, plenty with pubs, and supermarkets. I strongly recomend the pub Dram!
Appartement très bien situé (quartier université à côté d'un parc), spacieux, idéal pour 4 personnes adultes. Attention s'il y a des enfants car cet appartement ancien est sonore.
Great guests, polite, nice and easy to talk to. Totally recommended!
Kim & David were fabulous guests. The communication run pretty well with them, before and during their stay at the Faro de Sardina apartment, and also were so careful with the house. Being themselves airbnb hosts (with a beautiful apartment in Glasgow), it was for me encouraging to get their feedback of the house and the island (culture and territory). Great to have had them around. Hope to visit them sometime in the near future.
