Jigar's place was just awesome! It was so great to sit outside in their backyard and chill for a few days, just reading books and having a good time! Their place has everything you'd need, a great kitchen, Whole Foods just around the corner so you can get everything you'll ever need for cooking up some good stuff :) Excellent place to have a holiday, works well for a family as well as for singles or couples. Potrero Hill is quite but still very close to the city, an authentic SF living experience without traffic noise. Highly recommend them to anyone!
Really great location, wonderful for 2 people, two great decks with views of the city - hope it's available again!
This was one of my best stays in San Francisco, all thanks to this lovely home. The views were incredible, nice and safe area in Potrero Hill, very generous hosts.
Jigar and Annika were wonderful hosts and the apartment is beautiful. It's on a pretty big hill in Potrero so getting home can be tough going if you're on foot or getting around by bike but when you do, the views are spectacular. From the upper balcony you can see the sunrise in the morning and sunset in the evening. There's another balcony off the main living space and a garden below where the fresh veggies are growing. I had a great time staying here and would definitely recommend it.
Wonderful Guest! Very responsive in communication and had great respect for property. Would love to host again!
I met Jigar in the year 2000 and count him as one of my favourite people in the world and best friends. I've been hosted at Jigar's home on many visits to the US, and while the venue has changed over the years, the hospitality has always been first rate. He's kindhearted, respectful and easy going. If you are a guest in his home, you will be given plenty of space but I know Jigar will also be happy to answer questions / orient you. If you have Jigar as a guest, he will respect you and your home. If you're lucky, he'll have his wife, Annika with him. She's lovely and they are a terrific couple.
I have known Jigar for over ten years, having met him in college. We started and continue to maintain a side business together with another partner. I can personally attest to his responsibility and respect for property, both his own and others'. He would make an excellent guest for any host.
If you do meet him in person, please do not ask after where he attended graduate school, as this betrayal of his alma mater is something of a point of embarrassment.
