Trish welcomed us like we were returning relatives. She is warm, fun, and delightful to be around.
We cooked and ate together as well as talking late into the night many nights.
A truly home away from home experience.
Very homely feeling property and trish was a very welcoming and lovely host. Having previously lived in Fremantle I can happily say that she provides the quintessential "Freo" experience.
Trish was an absolutely delightful host, she made me feel very welcome and went above and beyond my expectations for an airbnb stay. I absolutely love Trish's beautiful old house, it's full of character and has a few different out doors seating spaces to relax and eat or read a book... Using an out door Loo didn't bother me at all, and my room was large with a very comfortable bed and all that I required. I particularly enjoyed borrowing one of the available bikes to ride around Fremantle and take advantage of the many cafes, galleries and markets to visit; also the beaches are pristine and nearby. Thanks for having me Trish.
I highly recommend Trish's Airbnb. Trish is a warm and welcoming person and I settled very easily into her lovely home. It was a peaceful place to stay.
Trish has good knowledge of the local area and she was more than happy to chat with me and give me suggestions regarding places to eat and visit.
Her home is located in a convenient location in Fremantle close to pubs, shops, and cafe's which are all in walking distance.
It's a wonderful time when I was staying at Trish's lovely house. Nice room, comfortable bed (especially the pillows), beautiful garden, convenient location.
Trish is friendly, kind. She provided lots of useful information to me. I really like Fremantle, especially the sky. Hope to come again and have more chat with Trish.
Trish's guests are her utmost priority and she goes above and beyond to make your stay as effortless as possible.
Decades of warmth and charisma welcome you when you step foot into her beautiful little cottage. Whether marvelling at her antiques or soaking up a little sun in her magical garden, you'll be truly delighted that this wonderful woman has opened up both her heart and front door.
I loved staying with Trish, her house is like a living display from bygone days, the furniture, the knick knacks are SO interesting.
The bedrooms are big with really comfy beds. Everyone has the choice to use the kitchen, but I cheated and headed down the road to the cafes. Plenty of parking on the street and an easy walk into Freo. Very close to Freo Hospital.
The free CAT bus is a minute away.
Loved the stay, I'll be back.
Trish was a great host. On arrival she explained the house rules and how everything worked. The house is exactly how she describes it, it has loads of chatacter! She also made one her funky retro bikes available to ride around cycle friendly Fremantle. Would definately come back.
Trish made us feel home in her amazing vintage house straight away! We were blown away by her house, furniture and vintage pieces, it was like coming in from another world than the outsie one in Fremantle. Fresh towels, breakfast, Wifi, maps and a clean, cozy room waited for us on arrival. Wifi was working excellent, the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in and the outside toilet (yes, it's outside!) was cool.
The location in Fremantle is also great, it's not in the middle where all the pubs, restaurants (noise!) and people are, but still in close to the centre. If you walk it'll probably just take you 5-10 minutes.
Trish is a great host, and we had a wonderful time staying in her house. If you get the opportunity to stay in her house; do it! No sterile hotel will ever beat this experience!
Great Air BNB, Trish was the perfect host and the house was exactly as described. Great location as well.
Trish is a very good guest. She has long standing experience in airbnb being a host herself, and a very good host I'm sure. She is friendly and easy to get along and she makes you feel at ease with her right from the start. I recommend Trish to all hosts!
It's a pleasure writing a reference for Trish. I stayed in her house for about a week as I was passing through Fremantle and had a ball! Trish was very welcoming and knows Freo like the back of her hand which meant she had lots of good travel tips. The house is well set-up, very roomy, comfortable and relaxing, and within walking distance of all the tourist sites, cafes, and shops. The other guests in the house were really friendly and we had a great time hanging out in the house. Very highly recommended! Thank you Trish for your hospitality!
It was a real pleasure staying with Trish. The house and host are so welcoming, it's a hospitality oasis. Location is prime, a stroll for coffee and shops and a short bike ride to the beach. I loved it so much a stayed for six months! Highly recommended.
The house is my ideal place to live or stay because... it's a beautiful old house with lovely antique furniture and nice garden (The room I had was huge and comfy. It's one of my most favorite rooms ever.) Also it's close to the beautiful beaches, nice cafes, restaurants and pubs (mostly only 5-10mins walk).
Then Trish! She is absolutely an awesome owner who is very kind and fun with plenty of local knowledge. We shared lots of laughs and fun things. She is also an awesome artist (I love her works) and a good cook!
I do recommend to stay with Trish when you visit Fremantle or Perth if you like the things I mentioned.
I have had the good fortune to stay with Trish during regular travels to Fremantle from Melbourne.
Fremantle would have to be my first choice of somewhere to stay in Perth, having excellent public transport and interesting things to do.
I found Trish's place a friendly and relaxing place to stay. Trish was very helpful with her local knowledge, and she has set up her rooms beautifully in her central location.
